Great sound quality, end-game IEM at about $100
This review is for Letshuoer S12 in-Ear Headphones 14.8mm Planar Magnetic Driver Wired in-Ear HiFi Earphones for Smartphones/PC/Tablet (3.5mm Connector, Gun Metal Grey). This is my 5th set if IEM after the following: - 1More trip-driver. - Celest Rue. - CCZ DC-02. - Tanchjim Bunny. I also own Sennheiser HD6xx (open back) and HD598cs (closed back), as well as regular headsets including Apple AirPods 2, Apple AirPods Pro 2, Bose SoundSport wireless, Surface Noise-Cancelling headphones, Jabra Evolve2 65, and a few others. Now I believe this is the end-game from IEM perspective, just like HD 6xx for over-the-ear models. I am not an audiophile, and I am not interested in collecting earbuds/headphones, I just love music and would like to find the right tool for enjoying my music collection. When I am away from my desk, I need a pair of small earbuds which are easy to carry without sacrificing music quality. Believe or not, even though Apple AirPods 2 are very good (great noise cancellation, superb convenience using with iPhone), but the sound quality doesn't cut it. Each cheap sets I got in the past are progressively better, among those the best one is the Bunny. The almost perfect Harmon tuning makes most of the music truely enjoyable. It's very good in most of times, only in some serious classical music occasionally I would notice its shortcoming, particularly the low bass and clarity at the treble range. This led me to find a better one so I can forget the existence of the device itself, so the music can be truely immersive. Letshuoer S12 is exactly what I am looking from every perspective. In the box, besides IEM and cable it also carries a nice-looking hard-carry-box. It's high quality and served as a good protection to the device when it's not in use. 1 set of foam tips and 2 sets of silicone ear tips are provided, each set has 3 different sizes. I couldn't tell the difference between 2 sets of silicone ones beside color, foam tips is for better sound isolation to achieve a better bass, I picked black silicone for its color and ease of cleaning. My ear canal is small, so I picked the small ones. The quality of the cable is excellent, the plugs at 3 ends are all made of metal, the twisted wire looks super sturdy, the earbuds are made of metal too. Everything looks super high quality. The sound quality is excellent. I feel across low bass to mid to treble the entire frequency range is well balanced, no extra emphasis in the bass, no tune down in the treble, it just delivers the original sound that I am supposed to, and I want to, hear. The clarity is unparalleled, and best of all it responds to large dynamic range really well. In "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Herbert von Karajan the low humming part in the first minute, and first several minutes in William Tell Overtures by Carlo Maria Guilini, where my previous low-price IEMs struggle, S12 handles them so well and so naturally. Among several symphonies, operas, and pop song I tried so far, I haven't had the feeling of "wow, this is impressive and so different", but I do notice some small details that I didn't hear in the past, and overall feeling is it's immersive, natural, and the music is full of me and I don't feel the IEM itself. It gets itself out of the way. In term of comfortableness, I can wear it for hours without feeling fatigue. The buds aren't heavy, the silicones eartips are smooth, the design of the vent makes it possible to not build up any pressure in the ear canal. In term of sound isolation, it's very good. Obviously, there is no way to compare with AirPods Pro 2, but I cannot hear what my kids are arguing about near me, my wife has to tap me because I wouldn't notice otherwise. Given the superb construction quality, excellent design, and best-in-class sound quality, I think this is a no-brain buy for IEMs around $100. It's so much better than any wireless earbuds at any price range in my opinion, assuming you don't mind the wire. it's simple to use and will last for years considering there no battery or anything to go bad. I strongly recommend this IEM to all music lovers!

Better Than My Standard Gaming Headset
This product has changed my life when it comes to music, videos, and even gaming! I wanted to switch from my Razer wireless headset for my gaming/work computer for a while and gave these a shot. I have had these for roughly 6 months and it never fails me the quality you get from these bad boys. I am terrible at putting them away and keep them at my desk at all times and they stand the test of durability to this point. So many different options of how you would like them to fit as they provided you with 3 different sized ear cups and 3 different materials for each size group. With being involved more with working with music and videos than gaming, I can say these blew me away with the functionality and quality. I will note that for gaming, they aren't the greatest for that surround sound feel, but was easy to adapt to the direction of sound! Easy buy for me!

The best earbuds (so far)
Note: I am NOT an audio engineer or trained in anything audio or music. These were replacing the Etymotic ER3SE, which replaced the CCA C10, and these are by far the best both with and without EQ. I could mention the things Amazon wants, but the real metric is how they sound. Without an EQ, they are clear and have good bass response. Co.paring them to the other earbuds without an EQ is night and day. The others are muddy and washed out where these are clear. With an EQ, the field is leveled a bit, but I still prefer these. The others have a distinct sound to them whereas these are tuned just right. 10/10 until I find better

A good introduction to planar IEMs
This was my first planar IEM, and I'm quite impressed with its performance. The tuning, while bright and unmistakably "planar sounding", still has decent bass. Fine detail resolution and imaging is excellent, to the point where this is my go-to IEM for analytical listening (even if it does get fatiguing after a while). Build quality is good, but I have two issues with the design: most importantly, all of the stock tips lack sufficient grip to remain in the same position, and I find myself frequently adjusting them in longer listening sessions. Second, and much less importantly, the aluminum chassis gets noticeably cold. If you live in a colder climate, you will spend the first few minutes of each listening session acutely aware of that fact as they sap the warmth from your ears. Aside from those two admittedly minor issues, this is a wonderful IEM. I would recommend it for anyone who is interested in dipping their toes into planar IEMs, even over a competitor like the 7Hz Timeless. Just be aware that, if you have "non-standard" ears, you may need to get a different set of tips to achieve the best fit.

Unsubtle Excellence
I got these after experimenting with other chi-fi IEMs up to the very expensive Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lights and being pretty disappointed despite listening to lossless files through a decent DAC. Instead, my favorite so far were the $50 KZ ZS10 Pros. I guess I just don't have very refined ears. These are the first planar drivers I've owned. I went looking for an upgrade to my ZS10s and was pointed to the S12 Pros. I was not disappointed. I paired them with some Spinfit W1 sleeves and they're by far the most comfortable IEMs I've ever tried. No hotspots or strain. I wear them for hours with no discomfort whatsoever. The build quality is also excellent. Understated design but very solid feeling construction. The sub-bass is front and center, though it can get a little muddled when playing compressed files. The mids are well-balanced. The treble stands out spectacularly, though can get a little hissy with prominent sibilants. These IEMs need to be pushed to really bring out the soundstage, which may be unsuitable for listeners who prefer lower volumes. For me, the best sound is on the upper range of my comfort. For my taste, they create a wonderfully bombastic sound. Though be assured that these IEMs do not create a "refined" sound. They make no illusions about how sculpted the response is. However, if that's what you're after, look no further.

Great sound with one drawback
I've owned numerous low-end IEMs such as the Truthear x Crinacle Zero blue and red, 7Hz Salnotes Zero 2, KiwiEars Cadenza, etc. They're all quite good for the price. These are more than double the price, but are still very reasonably priced given the sound quality. These immediately became my go-to IEM. The frequency response is very well balanced with a great low end that is impactful without being boomy and a high end extension that I realized I was missing with my others. They may seem a bit sibilant to some, but everybody's ears are different, so it's something to be aware of. The only downside is the provided cable. It's thick and heavy. I find it to be uncomfortable after wearing for a short time, so I just replaced it with a cable from one of my other IEMs. Despite the cable, it's still a 5 star IEM simply due to the sound quality and comfort. With the right cable and the smallish body, they are extremely comfortable.

If you’re a casual who wants to up your game, look no further
Amazing. I’m no audiophile but these provide the best in-ear experience I’ve had to date. Sure you can get more expensive IEMs but, if you’re a casual like me, why would you? The soundstage is tremendous. I’m using them as I write this and I feel like I’m physically at the orchestra. But it has bass too, turn on on hip hop or DnB and it has a punchy yet clear bass. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Poor manufacturing and support sabotages the perfect sound
I've never had headphones that sounded half as incredible as these and they feel like a steal at this price. The clarity you will find here is unparalleled without spending magnitudes more. The non-PRO versions of these are more or less the same, though my personal impression is they trade a small amount of bass for a touch more treble when compared to these. Unfortunately, I've now gone through two pairs of these that lasted about six months each. Both issues appeared to be related to a loose connection in one of the earphones that could not be repaired without opening it up with the right set of equipment. After some delays in communication, Letshuoer eventually refunded me for my first purchase, so I promptly bought a replacement pair in hopes that I'd have better luck the second time around. I'm unfortunately in the same situation again, however I never heard back from Letshuoer after reaching out multiple times regarding my second pair, so I appear to be out of luck now. At this point, in spite of their unbelievable sound, I cannot recommend purchasing a Letshuoer product until they make some progress on some of their manufacturing and support issues. I would happily reconsider if they turn things around in the future, but >$100 for headphones that ultimately lasted one year - INCLUDING the replacement and the challenges of simply obtaining that replacement - feels a bit too steep.
