Surf Sea Salt Spray | Volumizing | Adds Texture + Matte Finish, Wavy Straight

This is my favourite salt spray. I mix in my hand with a little water. Not too crunchy and if it is just soften by scrunching your hair. Not sticky at all and a little goes a long way.

Adds good texture big step-up from a cheap sea salt spray doesnt make your hair dry or stuck together if used correctly smells alright not a very loud smell anyway

As an avid fan of salt spray I was keen to try the Bumble product having heard reasonably good things. I don’t like salt sprays that leave my hair feeling heavy so this works well for me - the hold is fairly minimal and it doesn’t particularly feel as if I have anything in my hair which I like. It also smells quite nice which is a plus!

There's no getting around the fact that this is expensive in comparison to other Surf Spray products out there, but having tried a few of the more reasonably priced items, in my opinion they are never as good and I end up eventually throwing them away from the back of the cupboard where I've resigned them to in the next spring clean. I revert back to this Bumble & Bumble product again every time because it simply does what I want ....Great texturising, wave and hold....and on another positive note, this large bottle lasts me a good few months using it 2-3 times a week so at least it works out more economical than buying the smaller bottles. So I don't waste my money on alternative surf sprays anymore and keep to this one, yes, I would obviously prefer it a little cheaper, but it's a very good product and I would recommend it to others.

I bought this after a lot of research and trying few other brands. I was disappointed with the 'Hold' of this product. I dont have that much hair left so I assumed it would be easier but all I can say I have had better products.

Been using it for years - if you’ve got wavy hair that’s a bit unruly this is great for getting a more beach-y look!

It's not what I was looking for - I wanted the wave effect after being in the sea but without the course, straw-like hair feeling and this is not the right product

Great product for attaining beach blown hair styles. I have fine, but naturally wavey hair and this helps to attain the look. However, this size bottle is very small, so I would recommend buying the next size up if you will use this daily.

UPDATE (after long-term use): Still a repeat buy. We’ve used this for a long time across multiple guys in the house, and it’s the one product that consistently delivers: texture + lift + that “more hair” effect without feeling gross. Who it works for in my house: Adult man with thinning hair (air dry): This adds root lift and makes hair look thicker even when he just sprays and lets it air dry. It helps hair not lie flat against the scalp. Teen trend hair (blow dryer + diffuser): This is the secret weapon for the “broccoli / ice-cream cone” fluffy look. With a diffuser it gives maximum poof/fluff, texture, and separation. How we use it (what actually works): Spray on damp hair, focusing on roots + mid-lengths (don’t soak it). Adult: air dries and it still gives noticeable volume/texture. Teen: uses a hair dryer + diffuser and it goes to full “glorious man hair” mode. A little goes a long way. If you overdo it, it can feel too gritty (it’s a sea salt texture product). Feel + finish: Not sticky, not greasy. Matte, textured finish with a bit of grit (on purpose). Smells great (clean/aquatic) and doesn’t smell “product-y” all day. Real talk: It’s pricey, but it outperforms the cheaper brands we’ve tried. We always come back to Bumble and bumble, and it’s total household pandemonium if we run out. Bottom line: If you want volume and texture for fine/flat hair or that teen fluffy look, this one delivers.
