No. There is nothing on the stand.

Would I be able to easily disassemble the model to paint it a different colour? (Dark green!)

You could certainly give it a go, but this particular paint scheme was unique to the uk special force flight of 7 Sqn RAF....so no need for re painting boring old dark green.

Does the model's cargo door open please?

There are no opening doors on this model. There is on permanent opening and that's it.
