I cannot say whether or not this helps to stimulate hair grow as I have a pretty good head of hair but must say it is thinning a little at the front so I might now start to use it for the intended purpose. HOWEVER, if you suffer from headaches this is a must. Every time I have a bad headache I wash my hair and then really massage this liquid in (just a couple of squirts) and within seconds it gives the most powerful cooling sensation which really tingles and it really does get into the scalp and gets rid of my headache FAST. You need to take care not to let it run into your eyes or rub your eyes without washing your hands. Again, I have this on standby for whenever I get a bad headache but will now start to use this on a more regular basis for the purpose it was designed for and might come back with another review.

This is a great product that leaves your hair feeling soft. There is however a strong fragrance to it which may not be to everyone's liking. But the after shampoo liquid leaves a cool feeling to the scalp which is kind of weird at first but I do like the effect. It also stops the hair from falling, since its use I have not had any hair fall but I'm not entirely certain if this is from the Alpecin Shampoo I use or this after shampoo liquid. Either way purchase without hesitation as you are wide awake in the morning once it sinks into your scalp. I guess the same as having a coffee. Overall very pleased and I have since order a few bottles of this stuff. Place an order you will not be disappointed.

I've been losing A LOT of hair for 5 years since I moved to the UK. I thought it was related to some nutrient deficiency but all my blood tests have been normal. Tired of feeling my hair so thin, with no volume at all I decided to do some research on what I could do to improve my situation. I found out that other women from my country who moved to UK/ Europe were also getting bald! They were recommending some products among them was Alpecin. At first, I didn't know it was a men's product but as soon as I saw the packaging I could tell lol I'm not expecting an overnight miracle and I'm aware this needs to be used continuously. But I decided to give my review regarding the 2 months of use. The scent is not my favourite, which is expected - it's VERY masculine xD But this is ok since it doesn't last long. In the first month, I could already notice an increase in volume. Even people around me started asking about my hair. I can also see some hair growing close to my forehead! I've been using it in combination with the shampoo and my hair feels so soft and looks very healthy. My hair is long and straight, and since I started using I feel no need to brush it! Regarding the application, it can be because my hair is long, but I believe it could be easier to apply if as a spray. So far so very good. Hope it gets even better!

I use it along with other hair loss treatment products (diet supplements, shampoos, conditioners, oils) and after a month my hair stopped falling out. After a long course of antibiotics and hospital treatment it fell out in handfuls for over 3 months, when I washed it I'd collect three handfuls of hair and my clothes were full of hair. It was very depressing. Now it's maybe 50 hairs a day which is normal for healthy hair. Something is working and I'm sure Alpecin plays its part. It has also helped me to deal with itchy scalp, I can feel it work, I like the fresh tingly sensation it leaves on my scalp. It doesn't leave your hair greasy, just a little bit wet so don't apply it before going out.

Good for scalp hygeine, smells great. A little goes a long way.

It does work. When I use it regularly my hair loss is reduced by 30%. Some people complain about the smell but I personally don't have a problem with it. I'm not sure about other user but it makes my hair greasy so I only use it the evening before washing my hair the following morning.

Excellent product

Ok, first review on Amazon so going to look dubious! I started using this product over 3 years ago. I've got diffuse thinning blond hair, thinning very gradually and I'm in my 40's. I've tried most products except propecia, with no visible results. Minoxidil made my eyes puffy in 2 weeks very scary, but I've heard thats the one to use with propecia.....puffy eyes and no sex drive, think I'll pass! So over the 3 years I've used this product I've stopped and started tried other things etc, but always come back to it, because I personally think theres something in it. Is it going to give you a mane of hair, no, does it grow hair, I don't think so, does it make your hair feel better, yes it does! I thought it was a cosmetic thing with thickeners at first, maybe the oils and alcohol do something, so purely as a tonic it's nice enough (smells a bit cheap). But if you stop using after a while, the effects seem to linger for a few weeks and then you start thinking "my hairs feeling crap" and wonder why. So I'm left wondering, no miracle, but hey nice enough to use and cheapish ! Just to add I use a ketazone shampoo twice a week and beleive this to help too!

Compro esta loción desde hace meses y la verdad es que funciona ha parado la caída y aunque no hace que salga nuevo cabello por lo menos sí que para la caída el mejor momento para usarlo es justo después de lavarte la cabeza secar bien el pelo con una toalla y añadir este producto es ahí cuando notas el frío y el efecto que produce en cualquier otro momento no lo noto tiene que ser justo después de haberse lavado la cabeza si me lavo la cabeza y espero dos horas a ponérmelo y ya no noto esa sensación
