I was prompted to try Turkish tea after my first glass at a restaurant and after one attempt at using this as near as possible to the double pot method, without a double pot, I have to say that this is great tea. No sugar and it is still slightly sweet to my taste. There is loads of information online about how to make Turkish tea - follow them. For a strong but not overly so, brew, you need 4 teaspoons in one mug - 2 teaspoons for one Turkish tea glass.

Love the taste of this great turkish black tea, takes me back to marmaris, sitting on my balcony enjoying a cup of this whilst the sun sets mmmmmm. Drink this nearly every day, and its always great.

I don't like drinking water so make this tea and cool it down and drink it cold, sometimes with ice on those hot days. Nice mellow flavour. You can decide the strength of tea you want, dependant on how much leaves you use.

I was expecting loose leaf tea but got a very powdered specimen. Not for me I'm afraid. I like my tea, dark and strong but very clear and this doesn't cut it.

I am enjoying my first cup of this delicious tea. Comparing it to the Turkish tea I brought home from a Turkish grocer in Berlin. (I’m in Canada) and it’s just as good. There’s a notably different flavour as the tea from Berlin is Hakimi Ceylon Black tea which has a bit of a brighter flavour with a slightly sweet taste. This tea is from the area of the Black Sea and is just as delicious! Especially with spice cookies!!! It’s finely ground so you will need a fine diffuser or tea bags.
