Bought these to go with my newly purchased York Fitness EZ curl bar and they’ve been a great addition to my home setup. The plates fit perfectly on the 1-inch bar no wobbling or slipping and feel really solid and well-made. The cast iron finish is durable, and they have a classic, no-nonsense design. Easy to load and unload, and the weight markings are clear and easy to read. Great quality and exactly what I was looking for to build out my home gym. Would definitely recommend if you're using a standard 1-inch bar.

Very impressed with the quality of these dumbbell weights which are a great upgrade to my existing 1inch dumbbell bars. Note the bar is not included I've just pictured them mounted on my existing bars. Very clean and no damage I could see. Will buy again when the time comes.

Arrived a day early Good quality weights … I’ll probably despise them later when my arms are like jelly 😩🤣

Decent plates for the money

Ordered these as requested by my son. To add onto the York hand dumbbells he already uses. He’s very happy with them. But when they arrived they had very sharp paint, shipping off some of the edges. Had to knock them off to make the plate smooth enough to use, without cutting hand. Other than that; son is still willing to buy more when he needs to go up to an even higher weight level. Just to add a bit more info. His original weights are the chrome York. These York dark plates have the same hole fitting. So all fits his bars correctly.

Bog standard cast iron plates. Feel like they would last a century and they have got a good size to them. They have a large diameter which is good as it will allow you to fit more weight on the dumbbell. One thing I did realise though is that 1 5kg plate seemed heavier than 2 x 2.5kg however that could just be me.
