Duracell Premium Analog Sony NP-FW50 Battery for Alpha A7 A7R A7S 7.4V 1030mAh

Excellent replacement vs. the original Sony, with very good longevity vs. my other cheaper alternative batteries. Purchased two of these and they by far outperform all my other ones. Highly recommend.

I dont normally buy none genuine batteries, but being from duracell, I thought i’d give it a go. Easy to use and functions as expected providing the same battery life as the Sony equivalent. Used multiple times and seems to be durable so far

After sifting through the many battery's advertised as 'genuine replacements' for the SONY NP-FW50 I decided to try the Duracell type as the name is trusted, and the price is about 60% LESS than the genuine SONY battery. The Duracell works OK in my new ILCE-5100L SONY camera, and works normally in my new SONY Genuine BC-TRW Charger.( Purchased because I don't like charging battery inside my new camera in case of melt down!!) You do need a spare battery with this camera as battery life is not very long!! I wish Amazon would clarify when products are GENUINE SONY----as many listed play on words and pictures don't show SONY logo!! Never buy the cheapest product advertised!!!!

This is a cheaper alternative to the official Sony camera batteries, the current price (£14.99) is under a third of the price for the official Sony batteries, meaning you could buy 3 of these and still have some change left over. I own three of these, two of them still work, and one of them has died completely. The official batteries have longer battery life, and seem far more durable. Not sure I would buy again, as I can't seem to find the process for returning the battery, despite the 2 year warranty. Edit: I contacted Duracell direct, and they exchanged the faulty one under warranty.

This is the third such battery that I have bought - not because there is a problem, but because now I have two cameras using this type of battery and I wanted the extra confidence of having three spare batteries between the two cameras. They seem to last just as long as the original Sony batteries, and I have not noticed any drop off in the time between charging for the older batteries which I bought a couple of years ago.

As an alternative to Sonys NP-FW50 this Duracell compatible battery is stellar! With the Duracell version being 60% cheaper, I was a little hesitant but brand power counts. The battery charged up quickly and when using it for a similar length of time as the Sony one I have it it dropped out maybe 5mins before the Sony after using it for filming. For the difference of £30, this is perfectly acceptable.

It works. But on my a6400 the battery indicator is hella unreliable. It goes from 50% to 5% in minutes. Yet somehow lasts an hour on 0% sometimes. Official sony batteries don't have this issue. I hate to say it but i feel it's worth spending that extra for the reliability of official sony batteries. I won't be buying another battery.

La compre como batería complementaria para mi Alpha 6000 de Sony y funciona perfectamente. Tiene un pelín menos de carga que la original, pero funciona correctamente y dura mucho. Ya había comprado de Duracell para una Nikon que tenía y funcionaba la mar de bien. Recomendado al 100%

vu le prix d'une batterie officiel , celle remplie bien sa fonction , qualité et prix sont au rendez vous , après je note une légère différence niveau autonomie ( plus ou moins 50-70 en moins ) personnellement cela me choque pas . vous avez 3 batterie pour le prix d'une officiel le calcul est vite fait
