Dual-Head Desk Grow Light with Timer

Nice little double-headed grow light. So far it's still working, which is better than I can say for another type I ordered. The adjustable heads to aim at two plants is a nice feature and I like that you can adjust the brightness.

I am in love with this plant light! I had gotten a similar full-spectrum light for my mom (it mounts onto the shelf above her plants rather than being on a stand) and it was so good it revived an indoor callalily that we had thought was dead. It put up new shoots in less than a week and is growing SO LARGE! So naturally, I bought a full-spectrum LED for myself. I had been using a standard fluorescent grow light but my plants were so leggy I knew it wasn't sufficient. Since I started using this light, their legginess has stopped completely and I have never seen such happy, thriving plants in my room before! The adjustable brightness and ability to have one or both lights going is wonderful, the timer works fantastically, and the fact it was on a STAND was a huge bonus! I had, until this light, only been finding ones that clip onto tables. I'm using a chest of drawers for my plants, so clipping wasn't going to work! I will note that this light is designed to have a plant sitting on its base, otherwise it gets a bit unstable, but that was no trouble at all! I bought the non-timer version of this light and liked it so much I bought a second one. Then I bought a third one, but this time I bought the version with a timer because I already have SO many smart plugs. CAVEAT 1: It's a good thing I didn't rely on a smart plug to turn power on and off to the light, because unlike the non-timer model, the timer model doesn't turn on when you turn on power to it. You have to physically press the power button on the light's control, so a smart plug won't work to turn it on and off on a schedule. The other 2 models I have that have no timer work great; I just tell the smart plug when to turn on and off and the light follows suit without me having to use their physical on/off switches. CAVEAT 2: There are no instructions on how to operate the timer. There's an obvious clock-icon button that cycles between 12hr/8hr/4hr/no timer, but what does it mean if I switch to e.g. 12H timer while the light is powered on? While it's powered off? What if the light is off, I set it to e.g. 8H, then I turn it on? Or vice versa? I'm going to have to play with it to figure it out. I hope I can set the timer mode to 12H while the light is off, and 12 hours later it'll turn on for 12 hours. Otherwise I'll have to drag my butt out of bed at 5am tomorrow to turn it on and set it to timer mode. If that even works. If I can get the timer function to work, I'll try to remember to update this review to explain how [I think] it works. Update: You can't put the light in timer mode when it is off, only when it is on. When you do, the timer starts at that point. So if you want, say, 12 hours on, 12 hours off, starting at 5am each day, you have to get up the first day at 5am, turn it on, and put it in 12H timer mode. That's a pain, but you only have to do it once. Or, rather, once each time you decide on a new timer mode.

Easy to put together and was packed really well in a smaller box than I thought they could pack it in! They've been working great and the timer works perfectly. My plants are happy. Good price, too. Easy to set up.

My orchids love this light! They look great and are sending up new flower spikes. And I love that.

UPDATE 11/25/2024: So I emailed the seller just to let them know that my light did not power on at all (the adapter box and the switch controller did not display a blue light as it should have). I wasn't looking for a replacement since I had already sent it back and received a refund to my Amazon account. But the seller offered to send me a replacement anyway and the light works perfectly! I love the look and design of it (which is why I ordered it in the first place). As my plant collection grows (and it will lol) I will definitely purchase this light! I have also updated my rating to five 💥💥💥💥💥 The grow light is completely dead! Did they send me a used one??? I tried it in four different outlets in my house and it does not turn on at all. Now I have to disassemble it and pack it back up to return it. Such a complete waste of time. Seriously disappointed!!!

This light covers a 1'×2' area. Good for a few small house plants. I ordered this for my one flat of micro greens. But it's very delicate and does best when not moving the lights around after adjustment. Not expensive and considering I didn't have to pay shipping cuz of having prime I'm satisfied with it.

Great lamp. I use it for my bedroom. Just enough light to make my room feel cozy.

Edit* Customer service got back to me and fix the problem. They are sending me one and have assured me that the lamp will be safe, the bumps probably happen during delivery. They were very helpful! I did return that fun and simple grow lamp. I really wanted to love this, there is a telescopic arm, and its bendable even if mine comes with a dent and bump (it was supposed to be new) I decided to keep it first and give it a go, but after a couple of days it started getting way too hot and I got a bit scared to let it without surveillance or to forget to turn it off. There is no timer function on it, if it would have worked better I would have just set it with a smart plug it would not have been a problem. It was almost a good match for me.

Très utile pour assurer la croissance des semis. Les plants poussent vite et sont forts. Comme je n’ai pas besoin de couvrir une grande surface d’éclairage car seulement pour une douzaine de plantules , la lampe fait très bien son travail et est ajustable en hauteur en plus. Elle prend peu de place sur une petite table , en plein ce que je désirais. Facile à monter et solide .J’apprécie aussi la minuterie , une fois réglée , tout se fait tout seul. Je cesserai bientôt de l’utiliser , la remiserai et m’en servirai le prochain printemps en espérant qu’elle fonctionne encore. J’aimerais bien savoir si on peut acheter la plaque d’éclairage seule sans avoir à racheter la lampe au complet? Pour le moment j’en suis très satisfaite.

Nothing to say more. Lamp is maybe good but heavy for lightweight base. Very flimsy. I don't know why i didn't return it on time. Price is high. Check other lamps in my reviews if you need a good one

Pros: variable light strengths covers full spectrum Bright! 3, 6 & 12hr timer. Fully adjustable goose neck arms & light brackets. Plants love the light & grow well Cons: very top heavy. Easily topples over even with plant sitting in base. The gooseneck style arms are great to adjust but have difficulty staying at the angle/height you adjust them to. Veey difficult to set the lights an appropriate distance from my seedlings so they don't get burnt. The timer function is a pain.. I really wish lights would have an 18 on 6 off option. Having to set 2 timers for 1 light is basically impossible.. if you try to use a separate timer that you plug the lights into, it won't work because the lights have their own on/off switch.. when the separate timer turns on you still have to separately turn the light switch on). The brackets holding the lights are quite flimsy but tight to adjust. I bent one first time I tried to angle it. Overall a good lighting set up, if you can get them to stay put.

Plant grow light works amazingly — covers a pretty large area for several of my plants plus love the timer option.
