I like this product as there are no fixings or plastic screws to attach to toilet. You simply squeeze & release the toilet seat onto the toilet lid. Very good value for money.. it’s very safe & doesn’t come off the toilet seat. I have found this invaluable after my hip replacement op. If multiple users for toilet they just have to simply squeeze & the toilet seat releases . So easy .the size is perfect & our toilet is the everyday size so no prob with fit. Would recommend it’s the best

I was incredibly surprised at how good this is! This will do the trick if you need a higher loo, find it difficult to squat/bend/have dodgy knees or hips, arthritis etc, post surgery etc. Unbelievably easy to pop on loo seat, easy to clean, easy to remove - all take seconds. Fantastic value. Recommended, at least as a great temporary solution while trying to decide on something more expensive, or only needed for post surgery recovery. NB I am a long time Amazon customer who has not been asked to review, and I rarely do. But this really does warrant a genuine 5 stars!

Really makes a difference. My Rheumatoid Poly-Arthritis is flaring up and both of my knees and one ankle have decided to be problematic at best. Sitting and rising from the porcelain throne has been excruciating. This addition has greatly improved the situation. It is easy to add and remove, so no-one else who uses the same toilet is affected. Going to the toilet is no longer psychologically traumatic. It is very strong and really easy to wipe clean. The reason it is only 4 stars is that the gap used to reach and wipe is now smaller. It is not a major issue however it is noticeable.

Almost bought another kind which had plastic screws to hold it in place and which seemed fiddly. This is just so easy to use, lift the lid and toilet seat, then take raiser and just squeeze the plastic together either side near the ‘horseshoe’ opening and pop on the seat, it will ‘click’ into place and it’s very sturdy with no movement. Remove in the same way. It’s very reasonably priced for what it is! The only drawback is it’s rather bulky to store if only used occasionally for elderly visitors.

Got this for after husband's operation because he can't bend his legs enough to sit on the toilet. It seems massive when you see it, but it just clipped onto the toilet seat and it's a perfect height, giving you that extra 4 inches. I'm concerned about how to keep it clean at the moment because I only just got it and haven't had to get it unclipped yet, but as for doing the job, it's great, and it feels really safe and sturdy when you sit on it. Recommended.

I was told I needed a new hip, in December 2019, managed to walk, in pain, with stick till April 2021. My surgery was delayed Pandemic, the bone collapsed on it self. I had managed to work, don’t laugh I am NHS ITU, on strong medicines but then April bones ground to a halt. I had bought things to help myself, this by far the best used items. Pre surgery, this lift seat meant I could visit friends and family pre surgery and use their WC. Post surgery the same seat helped me to visit all the homes and places that don’t have Disability high toilets. This lift seat has helped me return to work although now partime It helped me have the confidence I could manage. So built for purpose, easy to clean, comfortable to sit on and Value for money. Portable and fits every toilet. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Easy to install, toilet seat raiser for elderly and unwell relative. Safe and sturdy. Easy removal. Value for money and definitely does the job.

This toilet seat fitted our 1930s toilet perfectly. However, it wasn't such a good fit on our modern toilet (see photos), hence the 4 stars, although it was still usable for my 12.5 stone partner who was recovering from a hip replacement. It's easy to use, easy to clean and excellent value. I did a fair bit of research as I didn't want to spend a lot of money for an item that would only be used for a couple of weeks. It's now in the attic awaiting the next hip replacement...
