Praxis 10-Inch Chef Knife, Rosewood Handle, Stainless Steel, Brown

After using this knife for almost one year, I can confidently say that it is by far the best one I have ever owned. I have previously used Zwilling and Masuta knives, but this one stands out in every aspect. It is incredibly versatile and handles everything from meat cutting to fine chopping with ease. The blade holds its edge exceptionally well and requires only minimal sharpening, even with regular use. Great quality knife. Came very sharp, and retains its edge quite well. You'll always want to sharpen your knives for best performance, but I've used this on meats, cheeses, and herbs. Sits well in the hand, and the handle looks fantastic if you oil it a bit.

This is a fantastic quality super sharp chefs knife at a good price. First use I sliced into my finger without noticing, be careful !! Its weight and balance are good, it’s easy to handle.

I thought this knife would be ok from reviews I had read and it turns out to be a very nice knife indeed. Sharp from the box, has a ring to the blade which suggests quality, is really well finished. Very pleased. Will look at buying Mercer again.

Got it for my dad for Father's Day. So far he really likes it.

I do a lot of cooking, needed something longer than my 8” knife. This one is light, and suits my hand really well. I like the wooden handle. It arrived very sharp. The chef knife and a paring knife can take care of almost anything I do in the kitchen. Very reasonable price, might get another for my niece.
