KJV Holy Bible, My Creative Bible, Faux Leather Hardcover - Ribbon Marker, King James Version, Pink Floral W/Elastic Closure

Definitely a keeper, so beautiful that even the sides of the pages when closed have floral designs and I love it. The cover reminding of Jesus blood, has embossed flowers and butterflies that made me think of life and changing into something more beautiful, and the back even has a gorgeously inscribed verse, with even the card slip on over the back cover depicting all the info about it, being just as beautiful and its a shame to part with even that as it too is stunning. I wanted to keep the floral parts as bookmarks but damaged them in removal, BUT inside there is a bookmark that is simple, pretty and practical, asking 5 questions when you read the Bible, reminding us how to use it in our spiritual lives, plus of course it has a lovely ribbon place holder as well and that is longer and wider than the majority I have seen. or used. An elastic to hold it all closed or mark a page if preferred is in matching color. Inside are lined areas on every page to make notes, and so many amazing verses to colour in that will aid memory, over 300 of them. This bible is a work of art and an inspiration, encouraging its pages be opened and explored, and everything about it has been so perfectly well worked out, if you have a female Christian in your life, or someone special buy this for her, its stunning and she wont be able to resist getting the word as she colours and browses and of course KJV is the best too.

Beautiful Bible

This is a beautiful journalling bible and perfect for anyone who, like me, is not the best at drawing. However, the single column with two inch margin leaves lots of space to create your own artwork and journalling entries but also a myriad of beautiful line-art images and word-art to colour and decorate in any medium you fancy. It's a lovely, solid tome with a nice substantial ribbon marker [not one of those silky numbers that will fray and spoil within weeks]. The imitation Lux-Leather cover is of a high quality and super tactile but not so soft that it will rip and blemish easily. The embossed images on the cover are clean and crisp. The pages are a rich cream and just the tiniest bit thicker than the usual crinkly wafer-thin typical paper which will come in handy for preventing bleed-through when decorating/colouring. The end papers feel about 100gsm, perfect for colouring the gorgeous images and scripture that adorn them. The font is a slightly larger than normal at 8.65 point, which I know will be useful for the optically challenged among us [me included]. The edges are decorated with a soft floral design, in keeping with the overall theme. I have to admit that it took me ages to decide which colour [brown, pink or turquoise] cover to choose as they all look fab. Extremely good value for money too. My only criticism [and it's totally personal] is that this bible is not available in any other translation apart from the KJV which I personally find a bit dated now. I'd like to see a NKJV or NIV version in the future.

My love for this creative bible keeps me motivated to meditate on the words of God always.
