Revlon Photoready Powder, 7.1 g, Number 010, Fair/Light

Very smooth; also good for small blemishes.

I couldn’t buy this in Boots as I used to do, so resorted to it at Amazon and am very happy to have found it. The service could not be faulted.

I got this on 18th of March 2023, wasn't sure what to make of it initially cos I tot it appeared sort of orangish background whereas I'm used to red pink red beige sort of background. But after applying it with my own blending brush, it was beautiful and flawless. It does make my skin look younger by up to 5yrs. I just can't resist the flawlessness and the new look it gives me. It's a massive move for me, from reddish to this! Made me feel like I've been using the wrong shade all along. Now I think it's gonna be my new companion. I've read a review saying it has glitter particles 🤔, not really noticeable, it's not like the glitter powder or shimmers or highlighters, nah, not that noticeable. It's got the tendency to be like that but i wldnt really describe it as having glitter particles, and it won't also stop me from wearing it daily, nah. I bought the Medium/Deep Shade. And it doesn't sting or anything so good all the way. Update: i did think this powder had some residue odour but I'm beginning to think maybe this is only the case in summer due to yhe heqt and maybe my skin reaction with it, but all this winter i don't seem to have noticed any smells from it so it's cool. Makes my life easier.

Revlon's PHOTOREADY powder seems to melt seamlessly into my skin, with a colour that matches my fair skintone. The powder applies evenly, and it is easy to build up the product for a light/medium natural looking coverage; the finished look is mostly matt, but it still seems to have a slight glow to it. The coverage is so good that I don't need foundation under this, just a little dab of concealer on any blemishes. The PHOTOREADY powder is meant to contain the same reflective pigments that the foundation does, but, unlike the foundation, I can't see any hints of the 'sparkle'. PHOTOREADY powder feels so lightweight; I feel like I'm not wearing any make up. I do have very dry and sensitive skin, but I've not experienced any dry patches or caking, I've also not experienced that tightness and itchy feeling, which a lot of other products have given me.
