Great machine
I am very impressed with this buffer, quality is good and the unit is very quiet.I am using to polish aluminium and it is doing a great job of that.

A good quality product
My wife and I use it for polishing silver jewellery, which it does extremely well. The build quality is very good and I expect we will have many years’ use out of it.

Powerful and quiet... Awesome!
Very sturdy build quality, quiet with a fast spin rate.. you can press objects to be polished hard against the buffing wheels and the motor won’t slow down.. unlike other lower power rated buffing machines..Highly recommended to get this one or same power rating machine.

Good and solid
Only used a couple of times, but seems sturdy and well made. No problems.

Price
Found this was best price when looking at different web sites. It certainly buffs up my old tools - they look nearly brand new after a few minutes of buffing. Well worth the money.

Sturdy quiet robust
Could have done with wider polishing wheels but good product all round

No good for buffing finished wood
Probably very suited to metal work, but definitely no good for buffing finished wood products, RPM is way too fast.I bought it for that purpose as 'other materials' was in the description, but sadly had to return. As for metal work, I'd say it would be perfect, a lot of power and surprisingly quiet, so it still gets 5 stars from me.

Jury is Out
Received the polisher and plugged it in ..... nothing!Tried the fuse, the on/off switch still nothing.Eventually, just before I returned it, there was a noise and it turned a couple of revolutions.I left the power on, and the polisher switched on (I know, H&S would have a fit!) and after about 20 minutes it began to turn.As I posted above, the jury is out on this product - I won't throw away the packaging for a while yet just in case I has to go back.
