Omg! This has actually changed my life (I know that sounds a bit far fetched but it's true!). I had a nanokeratin treatment which was applied incorrectly & left my hair feeling damaged & brittle. After searching for a shampoo & conditioner which was sulphate free I stumbled across NYK1 so gave it a try. The results are amazing! My hair feels soft & silky with my hair looking so shiny. I'm thrilled that my hair is so easy to maintain & drys perfectly without the need to straighten it. So it's saved me time & money as it's not as expensive as a lot of sulphate free shampoos. It's left my hair no longer feeling heavy or static which some conditioners can do. The customer service is also excellent! The product arrived quickly & was packaged well with a few nice extra touches. I received a free pump with my order & the option of ordering another one for free. I was thankful of the pumps as the bottles are big (great value for money though) & it's not easy to get the conditioner out of the bottle so the pump is great. All in all a great experience, so much so that I am looking at ordering other products with the company. I like the fact it is a small family run company based in Britain! I would highly recommend the shampoo & conditioner.

This is a really good product and leaves my hair very soft and silky. However, I find the shampoo very thick and the conditioner very runny. Is this normal?

I needed some shampoo and conditioner suitable for my recently chopped, coloured and keratin straightened hair. The products I had originally been using were SLS free, but they did not claim to prolong keratin or colour treatments by not ‘stripping’ the hair. The NYK1 concentrated products come in 500 ml containers, a generous but manageable size. I bought the twin value pack, which was delivered, well protected, in its own box. It contained one pump, which I used on the conditioner, which is obviously a thicker consistency than the shampoo. You are offered another pump, cost free, if you email NYK1, which was easy. I had some friendly and useful communication and the pump arrived in no time. The extra pump is not vital for the shampoo container, which can be squeezed out easily through the aperture in the rising top, but I like using mine. The Oil of Coconut adds a lovely fresh fragrance and it felt great working the products through my hair. It foams up nicely and rinsing was easy, too. So far, I have used both products four times and I am delighted with the results. My hair feels clean, soft, smooth and silky and looks really great. Love this product!

I purchased this set three months ago for the first time and was quite happy with the results. The shampoo and conditioner worked beautifully, so I decided to buy a second set. Unfortunately, upon opening the new set today, I was met with pure disappointment. The shampoo was almost as thin as water—completely different from the first set I tried. This inconsistency is frustrating, as I had trusted the brand to maintain the same quality and standards. I truly wish brands would remain loyal to their original formulas and ensure consistency across batches. Customers return because of the quality they experienced the first time, and it’s disappointing when that trust is broken. Update: I originally left a review saying the product felt watered down, and the seller reached out to me straight away offering either a full refund or a replacement. I decided to give it another try, and I’m really glad I did. The communication was excellent, the new batch is much thicker and exactly how it should be, and I’m now a very happy customer. Review from person who used it: I used this instead of a bigger more expensive brand. Packaging is great as its cardboard and every thing is secure. For context, i have very fine hair. Shampoo Pro`s The shampoo does a decent job in washing the hair and smells great. Really gentle on the scalp and hair which is great. Good smell. Lathers well for a non sulfate shampoo and i didn`t have to use too much The mini treatment should last 4 weeks, when using this shampoo it lasted 7. Cons The hair had just had a mini keratin treatment but the hair was tangled a lot more than I was expecting which usually doesn`t happen Pros of the Conditioner: It is irritant friendly, I have an awful scalp and it didn`t irritate me at all and was gentle enough for daily use which is great. It has a nice smell, Rinsed well. Negatives Its that light weight it almost washes away on contact with your hand, put it on quickly. My hair felt quite soft and shiny after drying and styling but it was a bit lacking in the detangling department and wonder if it just a little too light weight as even been left on a few minutes it sometimes wasn't much easier. It definitely extends the treatment life, its a good price and its safe. If you have finer hair it might work for you but if your hair is very thick you might need a thicker conditioner or you will be using a lot of this product. On the whole, I wouldn't say i wouldn't rush to buy it every time but its decent enough if your on a budget and if like me you try to use free from shampoos all the time you could do worse. A solid 3.
