White Yam 1.5kg - Product of Ghana

Absolutely fabulous. It’s sounds a lot of money but the nutritional values are very good. Perfect I mashed mine and spiced it up , divided into portions of 100g ( you don’t need a lot it’s filling)

This yam I ordered is a small yam for 1.5 kg Not happy with this order for that price

The yam was spoilt and what was delivered was 3 small pieces of yam not a full yam. I am not happy I could not even use the yam 😭

Absolutely delighted. My yam travelled over 500 miles from London to the north of Scotland and arrived in perfect condition. Given it was just rattling about in a cardboard box I found that rather impressive. I’ve been wanting to buy yam for ages and it looks like now I can! The flesh was lovely and white and I’ve already cooked some (tasted sweet and chestnutty) and peeled, cubed and frozen the rest. You can’t leave yam hanging about- particularly if it’s been bouncing about Royal Mail vans- so deal with it when it arrives. I’ll be ordering it again from this supplier. Update So...I ordered again and this time the quality was poor. One had a lot of holes in it and the other was .... well, very fibrous and quite bitter when cooked. The pieces floated in the water...I don’t think they’re supposed to do that! So...you take your chances regarding quality with this seller.

Value for money

This is what I got with £8.99... I will never advance anyone to get this. This is a £3.50 yam in a shop. Not nice at all. A new yam for that matter because you can see it changing colour after cutting into it. Rotten yam.

I ordered cassava and initial;y was sold as a cassava. Only later I dicsovered that it was Yam. It should be clear from the begginig. Secondly that price too expensive for Yam.
