Lyons Coffee Break No3 Coffee Bags (150 bags)

Full of flavour and taste and so easy to brew.

I purchased No 3, tastes awesome to me. I used to use filtered coffee beans with my machine, but this gives me the option of portability. I turn up to a location with my re-usable cup and ask for hot water (no body has complained or charged me so far). Then of course I just have to dip in my coffee bag and hey, a cup of great tasting coffee for the cost of a few pennies. Because each bag is individually sealed they keep their freshness, and also makes it possible to chuck a few in your bag, the car or your desk at work. Just go to your local supermarket (I tried Tesco, Waitrose and coop) and work out the cost of a pack of coffee bags, if they have them at all. You'll soon realise why this is value for money.

Easy to make fresh coffee, quickly and with no mess. Good strong flavour and simple storage and easy disposal.

There are a number of varieties of the Lyons coffee bags, and to buy 150 bags, and it not being good is a bit of a risk. So having read all the reviews on all the varieties, I chose the N° 3. I find that it is a good coffee for the morning, nice and smooth, and doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste in the mouth. As I like my coffee quite strong, and in the morning, I usually have a bowl of coffee, I just put less water in. It would be fine in a normal mug. Use it like a tea bag, and leave it in the cup, squishing it every so often, to get the flavour of the coffee. I bought them, as we have a camping car, and I prefer real coffee to instant, this is a brilliant way to get real coffee without wondering what to do with the grounds, when camping. I have had no problems yet, with broken bags - but I can imagine that if you squeeze them too hard when you take them out of the cup then they can split. I would definitely recommend these bags.

I’ve had other brands of coffee bags before, but not for a while. I decided to do a bit of googling to see which ones were the best. Lyons No 3 were pretty much top of the list, so I ordered this box of 150! Should keep me going for a while. I didn’t quite expect them all to be loose like that in the box, but it’s not a problem. I’ve actually counted them and unless I’m mistaken there is actually 154, so I’m not complaining there. Just made my fist coffee with one.. got a lovely aroma as it was sat in the cup, brewing. Now am drinking.. and it’s absolutely fine 👍 No complaints here 😀

Lyon’s should know that 2 of my recent orders from Amazon contained many coffee bags not properly sealed, and many more disintegrated in boiling water. I have written to Lyon’s .. have yet to receive an acknowledgement.
