Great edible food paint

Doesn't come with a brush, has a slight strange smell. You do need to apply either multiple thin coats or one big blob for the shine. I found you can only apply this in one motion otherwise it gets scrapped off.

Great lustre to use as paint on cakes, worked very well and I could layer it nicely. Ended up with a very pretty gold colour that dried down fast and didn't smudge or transfer once dry.

I was very excited to find this range of edible metallic paints. I had previously used edible lustre dusts with clear alcohol (vodka) to paint sugarpaste or flowerpaste decorations - fine, but a tendency to be a bit patchy in colour. This product is excellent in every way. Use straight from the bottle. The colour goes on smoothly with no patches, dries quite quickly and gives good coverage. Give it a shake every now and then if you are painting a large area, just to make sure it doesn't separate. Cleaning your brushes is simple - just use warm soapy water. No need for special brush cleaning fluids. Really lovely range of colours. A bottle lasts for quite a while. Bought a couple for my mum too (in silver and antique gold) and she loves them as well.

It’s thin? It’s a nice colour and worked for splattering on cake but to colour something Solid like a macaron or painting drip on a cake it’s not quite right.

Really happy with this product, I used it to paint over some moulded chocolate for chocolate covered Oreo’s and was really impressed, mine arrived with a thicker consistency what is great if you want full coverage but I mixed mine with a few drops of water for more of a sheer look but it still was quite full coverage. The only thing I found was it took a while to dry however that may be due to the fact I added water. I would definitely repurchase!

Top très belle couleur

Due to the name, I was expecting a dust. However, it is a liquid. Easy to apply, and lends a nice faint blush color when painted on fondant.

Worked perfect for the cake I made!

I use this for my edible cakes and I love the way it comes out every time!
