Well worth the price.
There is nothing worse than eating fish and finding a bone, although trying to get the pin bones out of fish must come a close second. I tried various methods, even using a pair of thin nose pliers, this offered limited success, often resulting in damaging the fish flesh and cleaning the pliers after was no fun either. I looked for an alternative product and came across these tweezers, they had to be worth a try for the price. Using them for the first time I realised I'd done the right thing, they made the job so much easier and without damaging the fish like I'd done before. They are the right size in the hand and make it easy to apply enough pressure to grip the bone to allow removal with the good size flat edges. The stainless steel construction means they are easy to clean, dishwasher safe and won't rust. Well worth the price.

I wouldn't be without these
I love cooking and eating fish but hate the hassle of removing the small bones. I have tried various different things from kitchen roll, standard tweezers and even brute force - none of them have been very effective and more often than not I have managed to damage the flesh of the fish in the process. It got to the stage where I used to cook the fish first and then try to remove the bones as they were remove that way. After watching many episodes of Masterchef I noticed that both amateur cooks and the professional chefs used pin bone removers to take out the small bones so I had a look on Amazon to see if there was anything similar for sale and came across this Kitchen Craft Fish Bone Remover. I know it sounds a bit dramatic, but for me, this little tool has transformed the preparation of fish. I did find that they were a little on the stiff side when I first used them and needed more force to get them to close around and grab a bone. However, with repeated use they have loosened up and now work absolutely fine. They are just under 5 inches in length and can easily be held and used with just one hand. You use them like a standard pair of tweezers but the difference with these is their large flat edges on both sides of the pincer tongs. These allow you to grab the bone and hold onto it whilst removing it. Standard tweezers don't give you such a good grip on the bone and it generally ends up sliding out of the end of the tweezer before you can pull it out. This tool is well made from stainless steel which means that it doesn't tarnish or discolour, they have the words, 'stainless steel' imprinted onto one of the side edges. They come with a 12 month guarantee against any faults with the tool. Only the very ends of the tool get any mess on them so a quick wash in hot soapy water cleans them fine, but they are also safe to put into the dishwasher. I would recommend these to anyone who has to prepare and bone fish.

An Imperial Mint
I know, you're thinking what the hell has an Imperial Mint got to do with Fish Bone removing Tweezers? Well, firstly the Tweezers are excellent and de-boned my salmon in half the time it usually takes me to, using my fingers or a pair of old splinter tweezers. I have quite big hands and was really happy that this product is much larger than your normal tweezers, very sturdy and grips the bones incredibly well - super product. The wrapped Imperial Mint was just a nice touch within the package as "thank you". Great customer service from the company "Down the Cove"

Brilliant little gadget
These are fantastic. I used to use my fingers and then progressed to a pair of old eyebrow tweezers. Well they slid off the bones and made a mess of the fish. I eventually went searching for proper fish tweezers and found these. The first thing that surprised me was how cheap they were. The second surprise came when I used them for the first time. Getting those pesky little bones out of fish is now a joy. The tweezers grab the bone and out it slides - effortlessly and cleanly. Oh joy! Save yourself a lot of frustration and invest in these - you won't be sorry.

Solid construction, jaws grip well. One thing I found was that the jaws, when open, were further apart than was really needed. I modified them slightly by bending the jaws closer together.
