Excellent mobile phone holder, sticks to windscreen really good. It has a vacuum suction and hasn't come off since attaching it 👍. Excellent price too, would definitely recommend.

I received this Arteck car mount a couple of days ago and have been impressed with it so far. It arrived in a simple box in three separate pieces which took no more than 30 seconds to put together. There is a mount base which consists of the suction cup, the phone holder and the plastic nut which allows you to tighten the phone holder in to the desired position. The mount is made of high quality plastics and feel sturdy when put together. The phone mount opens wide enough to fit any smartphone on the market today. I have been using it with a Galaxy Note 3 with a heavy duty Otterbox case. This case is heavy and adds a lot of bulk to the phone. The Arteck car mount was able to hold the phone with no issues in both portrait and landscape positions. When you place the phone in to the mount and adjust to your desired position, you can use the plastic nut on the back to tighten the phone and prevent it from moving. The suction cup is strong and you will not have to worry about it coming off the windscreen whilst driving. I went out on A roads and even with some spirited driving my phone did not fall off once. The mount is also designed to absorb bumps in the road and does not bounce or move around whilst driving. This mount is designed to be slim and looks great installed to the windscreen. This is a simple and effective product which I have no complaints about. I do a lot of driving at work and will be using this Arteck car mount on a daily basis to hold my Galaxy Note 3. The product is good but the adhesive is so strong that is very difficult to remove. And if you want to remove it to use on another car or a different place, you have to fight with it and damaging your dashboard. If you want it permanently mounted in one place it will remain attached for months with no problems. But I need a portable car mount. Arteck car mount for mobile UPDATE: First the Good News: Further to my previous review on the above I was looking forward to receive an updated version. And indeed is not just an update but a totally new product model S078A, solidly constructed and beautifully looking. Gone the days that the user had to struggle to open the spring loaded arms to put his phone. You now press a button and the arms fully open automatically. You place your phone and close the arms. So simple. Another button adjusts the height of the holder. This is a superbly constructed quality product. But...... The Bad News The bad news is that my main concern on the previous model was not addressed and still remains unresolved on this new model. This product works very well if you mount it permanently in your car or kitchen table. But if you plan to move it to another car forget it. You cannot remove it without causing damage to the windscreen, dashboard or your hernia. And I want a portable holder. If a user wants to install it permanently, then this is one of the best on the market. The guilty item of course on this product is jelly glue on the pad. There is more glue sticking than air suction. I suggest the designers take a look at Tom-Tom's and AnySharp's air sucking pads that use no jellies or other substances. And they glue on any surface without a glue and very easy to remove. As you can gather from the above the Achilles Heel of this beautifully engineered product is the jelly pad which unfortunately the manufacturers have failed to address. In view of the above I upgrade my rating from 3 stars to 4.

I've had this particular Arteck Car Mount for 2,5 years and it has recently broken off. It looks like it is the mechanism inside which has come undone while taking the phone off the mount. There is no way to fix it so unfortunately has to be thrown away. And it has not even been used regularly at all, maybe about a few times a month. And while it was a sturdy product and it stuck to the dashboard properly (not once falling off, even in very hot weather), I expected it to last much longer and not be as disposable as it turned out to be (hence, 3 stars). As it's been sitting on the dashboard all this time, it was also extremely difficult (almost impossible!) to take it off without resorting to extra instruments and left an unsightly round mark on the surface of the dashboard. Wether I'll manage to remove it altogether is yet to be seen, so be aware of this potential issue too. Definitely does not 'remove cleanly when it's time to move on' as stated in the description.

I've had several car mounts over the years - the type that clip onto the air vents and the type that stick to the windscreen with suction cups - and they all either fall off or are made a of cheap materials that crack and break after repeated use. My last one dropped off the windscreen and broke (surprise, surprise!) So I thought I'd look at some reviews to see if I could find one that looked a bit more reliable and robust. This Arteck one came highly recommended, so I thought I'd give it a go. At such a low price, it would seem foolish not to. The beauty of this one is that it comes with an adhesive pad on a suction cup, so you get the best of both worlds and it means that you can mount it on your dash or on your windscreen - or pretty much anywhere solid so as long as the surface is clean. I opted to mount it right in the centre of the dashboard on my trusty old Audi A4, and although I was dubious at first - I'm thoroughly impressed now. Once you put it in the desired location and push the suction cup lever down, it sticks like a limpet! You pop your phone into the mount's clamp (which is a little tricky at first as the 'jaws' are quite strong, but you get the hang of it) and there's a screw at the back of it that allows you to tighten up the angle adjustment. Once you've set it you're good to go, and the clamps hold your phone securely. So... I'd say that this is a cracking mount - possibly the best I've had as it feels so strong and dependable. Time will tell if it stays in place, but as it feels so strong I have little doubt of it falling off.

Strong grip. Works well. Used over a year. No trouble

For two years, the Arteck Car Mount has been like a loyal co-pilot in my car, holding my phone steadfastly, almost like it was glued to the windscreen. And speaking of glue, the stickiness of this mount could give a toffee pudding a run for its money. Repositioning it requires the kind of effort usually reserved for moving sofas or convincing the kids to go to bed early. But alas, like a British summer, it didn't last forever – one of the clamps has gone and given up the ghost. It was brilliant while it lasted, but in terms of durability, it's a bit like a chocolate teapot – great idea, not so great in the heat of things. Now, I'm on the lookout for a mount that's less of a one-hit wonder and more of a Rolling Stones – long-lasting and still sticky after all these years.
