Compatible with Bosch GRO 12V-35. Usual Dremel quality.
I purchased the Bosch 'Dremel' sometime ago. Whilst both companies share a parent, it's not made clear in any of the Dremel documentation whether this tool is compatible with the GRO. I can confirm that it is. Works perfectly, allowing access to areas where there would otherwise be obstruction from the large body of the Bosch tool itself. The only thing to note is that, unlike Dremel brand rotary tools, the Bosch lacks a hanger loop to support it, used to keep the flexi-drive within its working bend radius. I fix mine in an old lab clamp/retort stand whenever the work I'm doing doesn't allow for one handed working. It is necessary to hold the 'powered' end, due to the rotational reaction in the cable - it would otherwise try to move around. Meets expectations for Dremel quality and great value.

Meets expectations
Quality product from dremel. Easy to use with a comfortable design. Less vibration than holding the rotary tool and of course, much lighter. This allows for more prolonged use. Paired with the quick change collet, speeding up accessory changes, I can sit for several hours working on projects.

Great flexibility all round.
The Dremel flex shaft also fits the Milwaukee rotary tool as it is designed to accept Dremel accessories except molded handles. All of my Dremel accessories can be used using the flex shaft as it allows you to get close enough but without the flex drive I couldn’t. Definitely worth buying.

High-quality flex shaft that completes a Dremel setup perfectly
I’ve recently invested more heavily in my Dremel setup, including the drill press and a range of attachments, and this Dremel 225 flex shaft was the missing piece. Build quality is excellent. It feels robust, well made, and exactly what you’d expect from a genuine Dremel accessory rather than an aftermarket add-on. Once fitted, it runs smoothly and feels precise, with no noticeable vibration or slop. In use, it makes detailed work far easier. The flexibility and pen-style grip give much better control for fine tasks compared to holding the full rotary tool, especially for engraving, light grinding, or delicate shaping. It also reduces hand fatigue on longer jobs. Paired with the drill press and other attachments, this really rounds out the system and makes the Dremel far more versatile and enjoyable to use. Overall, a high-quality accessory that feels like a natural extension of the Dremel ecosystem. If you’re building out a more complete Dremel setup, this is well worth adding. For £26.99 you cant really go wrong!

Easier to use that I expected
Having been given a Dremel for Christmas, I've had lots of fun engraving things on drinking glasses. I'm no artist, but placing a picture on the inside and tracing on the outside isn't that tricky and the results are great. The Dremel, however, is a bit of a handful. This little tool, though, makes it much easier as it's much lighted to use. I've read two things - firstly that it's a fiddle to fit it on. It's not. Unscrew the chuck, push it on, screw the chuck on the other and and you're done. Simples. The other is that you need to have the Dremel itself hung above where you're working. Now, perhaps that's safer but I never got to doing that and I was keen to try it out so just went for it like a Maverick. Not had any problems so I'm not sure what the fuss is about. However, it might be a safety thing that I'm not sufficiently aware of so I can't actually recommend it. Worked for me though. Great little accessory and makes precision work (mainly what Dremels do I think) much easier.
