Excellent pencils. Worth the price! The only ones that actually stand up to a 10 year old boy who’s rough on things and loves to draw!

Having seen some poor reviews I was prepared to be disappointed with the black pencils but they are not too bad. I have used the yellow ones for drawing and find them quite good and feel quite nice and the yellow are made from cedar. The black ones, however, are not made from cedar and the finish is not quite as good but for drawing they are still OK. I would not swap a yellow (made in Mexico from cedar) for a black (made in China from ?) But hey use what you have and close your eyes!

These are the best pencils out there and is the recommended pencil by our kid's elementary teacher. We buy this 12 pack every school year for each of my kids along with a pack of their erasers to get them going through the school year. It's unbelievable to know how many pencils these kids go through in a school year; the 12 count definitely helps. These pencils write super near and dark; they also sharp well in the electric sharpeners without breaking the lead.

Great pencils, high quality, and theres a good feel to em, yknow? Like, that good classic pencil feel, with the scritch scritch and all that. Nice wood, very nice wood; almost soft to the touch, but not quite, just... comfortable. Perfect pencils. Love them. Will buy again.
