Perfect for the bedroom and bathroom. You just have to tap the screen and it gives a reading. For bath time it just floats in the water, you can take it out and put it back on it's stand for bedroom use.

Broke after 3 uses only. I already closed battery compartment tightly but water still managed to get in and ruined it. It wouldn’t switch on despite tapping the screen, when I checked to try and change the battery, there was water in it. Also even despite the miserably low life, I also didn’t like the fact that the display was not permanent, having to tap it each time is faffy and doesn’t fit the purpose of being a room thermometer. Ended up just using my kitchen thermometer for bath. I like a lot of other Tommee Tippee products but this one is not worth your money!

We did weigh up whether it was worth purchasing this product. With our first baby on the way, the ‘essential’ newborn purchases have stacked up considerably over the last few months. So, I was slightly hesitant when it came to another thermometer (above the the actual baby thermometer). However, this is quite multifunctional. Not only can you use it by sitting it in the nursery/bedroom to keep track of room temp (for safe sleeping), but, also, you can chuck it in bath water to track the water temp as well. Other water thermometers are more of a faff, but this one can just sit in the water with minimal fuss. If you’re slightly paranoid like me on temperatures of water/rooms/sleep environments, then it’s definitely worth it for some quick, easy, reassurance.

Tested this out before using with baby as had read some reviews that it records temperature lower than what the water temp actually is. I work at a pool that is kept at 34c, this thermometer read 32c. Not great as could mean bath too warm for baby! Not convinced it gives an accurate air temperature either. So will be baring in mind the 2c difference when using it.

A great asset for helping to bath baby with the water temperature showing on the easy to read floating thermometer , it flashes red if the water is too hot for baby ! A great safety feature and the price is very reasonable . Can be used in the water or out , these make a great baby shower gift also .

This is the third time I have purchased this thermometer. Previously, it lasted approximately two and a half years in good working order. I replaced the last one only because it had developed mold—not because it had stopped functioning. However, this new unit has been disappointing from the start. It failed to activate the red light that indicates a temperature above 38°C, and shortly after, it stopped displaying any readings at all. I am purchasing it one final time, but if there have been changes in how these are manufactured, they have certainly not been improvements.

Not too much to be said here. Tap the thermometer on a hard surface to activate with the included battery, stick it in the water and allow it a little time to settle on the water temp. It seems to refresh pretty quickly and certainly seems accurate. Our little one is happiest at 38 degrees. I tend to fill a little too warm, and bring down to temp with cold water. Hopefully it'll last, not had long enough to comment, but for the time we've had it, it's been in use for every bath and gives us peace of mind that the water is safe and warm - the flashing warning means it's not something we can overlook. I'd buy it again.

Nos ha encantado. Estuve mirando para comprar uno para tomar la temperatura de la bañera de nuestro bebé, no hemos podido escoger mejor. Va tal y cómo explican. Es precioso, parpadea una luz si la temperatura es demasiado alta, manejable ... Nos ha encantado. Estamos muy satisfechos.

En test comparé avec deux autres thermomètres, celui se tient très bien côté précision. Petit mais costaud, il égaie le bain et est très simple d'usage. Je mesure même la température de l'atlantique avec, c'est dire comme il peut descendre bas!
