Amazing!! Had been using another over the counter product, but remembered I had bought this product before some years ago, and thought it had been better. So bought this again and so glad I did! Less than 24 hours and such a remarkable difference! This will be my go to in future!!

Works well

I have tried a lot of similar creams and this is sort of mid ranking in terms of pain relief and shrinking effect. Better than high street available brands in my opinion but not entirely a cure, and it's not that cheap either.

Great..it works and sooths without nasty chemicals that are in the leading brands.

This has proven to be an invaluable product for me treating my hemorrhoid problem that has flared recently. I started out using Boots own ointment which has zinc and lidocaine in it and is the one I have always come to rely on. I also started using their suppositories. After about 5 days the pain was still very bad and intense. I saw my GP who examined me and (rightly) suggested that the lidocaine based product had produced a pain sensitivity - it was in effect increasing my pain. She told me to avoid all lidocaine based products. So I switched to Hemosan cream. Not only has the Hemosan been effective for pain I believe it has also helped to heal the hemorrhoids. As they lessen and the pain turns to an itch the cream can initially sting a little but this I believe is part of the action of the healing. With a recent reccurance of hemorrhoids I used this cream in conjunction with an initial dab or compress of witch hazel along with Anusol suppositories. They've healed much more quickly this time around. I'm very happy despite being initially sceptical of Hemosan. Also a little goes a long way so it's worth the money for me.

Awful stuff! I was really disappointed with this product. Having previously always used a natural cream by Nelson's which used to work within a day to almost clear the symptoms completely, I was really dismayed to find that they had discontinued their HCare+. I wanted a natural product as the over the counter ones from the chemists never seem to help me much. I thought that this Hemosan cream would be similar to the Nelson's one I'd always used before. How wrong I was! This product provided no relief whatsoever and actually increased the burning so much that I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep for hours as I was in so much pain. It claims to have a 7 way action - anti-inflammatory, healing, analgesic, emollient, venotonic, anti-edematous and astringent but I didn't experience a single one of those effects, apart from maybe the emollient, which could have been achieved with any other cheap cream like E45 or even some coconut oil. Thankfully as a result of being up all night looking at the internet for something that could help, I've now discovered Tea Tree Oil pessaries by House of Mistry which you can buy on Amazon and so far, these have provided enormous relief after just 2 applications! I'm hoping the healing will continue. By the way, I've no connection with any of these products I've mentioned, I'm just a fellow sufferer wanting to find something that actually works for this very painful condition. I bought this Hemosan cream on the strength of all the good reviews, but can only imagine that those people had very different symptoms to me to be remedied. For me, this was a complete waste of money and will be going in the bin.

As the ability to obtain 100 cotton boxers or pants becomes more of a struggle. Using blended under garments causes irritation to the top of my inner thighs. This becomes very uncomfortable, I have tried many creams and salves but so far this has been the most effective, it works quite quickly in stopping the itching sensation and provides a return to comfort. A application of the cream per day for a couple of days clears the condition for me and it is usually a couple of months before I have any more issues. With other salves and treatments (including E45 products, special soaps and creams advertised to cure/prevent joch itch, I even tried solutions from You tube) I had to use twice daily to get any relief and some did nothing at all. I would also have to keep using them for four or five days before I could stop and the condition would appear again in a week or two. A little goes a long way, so much so that 14 months on and I still have a little left in the first tube I purchased.
