This is a very nice product. Crystal clear, no evidence of any seams, and the shape is beautiful. Also, the leading edge (top edge) of the tray is cut, not cast, and it is polished. Very elegant and crisp. This appears to be far nicer than what it cost. I'm giving this as a Christmas gift. I several nice pieces of lumber from a felled pecan tree and turned a serving platter about 18" in diameter and 2 1/2 " deep. I turned a recess in the center to accept this, so the combination is a cheese and cracker tray or a dip/chip tray. The photos show how it looks in the tray I made and also the finish on the edge of the glass tray. I'm very pleased.

Actual size of cake stand diameter is 20cm - so it has been tricky to find just-the-right-fit - Yours is it!! Not only is the fit excellent, the quality is exquisite, which matters to me : ) 20cm is smaller than 8", so an 8" cover would be too large and anything much smaller would be too small. Yours fits beautifully. I have let the seller of the bunny cake plate know that yours is an excellent fit so they may let their buyers know also. The bunny cake plate is selling out. I studied lots of pretty table settings using similar bell glass cloches and was pleased to find these reasonably priced examples. When I received them I was also pleased with the quality. This size sits nicely on a salad plate and is not so large that it overwhelms the rest of your table decor. It would look so sweet with a pretty tart or other dessert inside. Great for all kinds of creative seasonal decor too.

Wish the base was larger.when I saw the image with lemons I though it would be larger. It is hard to pile up pieces and close the dome.

Perfect for a few muffins, pastries or cheeses.

A cloche is to display something and the number one feature when arranging anything special for display is a FLAT surface to place items. This glass base pitches up in the center of the base which means you can't place anything on the base because it slides down to the side. Of course, if one had all the time in the world one could read all reviews, which I unfortunately did not. Other good people noted this design flaw and wrote about it. The seller should put this in the description. This raised area in the center of the base make it unusable.

This bell dome had several air bubbles in it making it not a perfect piece. It also has a smaller diameter than it should to fit in the base properly.

This is the perfect remedy for covering pastries, cheeses, and other small items on my counter top. Since my kitchen is small and counter space is limited, it's the perfect size and height for my needs. I don't often use the accompanying tray, but when I do, it's the perfect compliment. The glass is thick and durable. And it looks nice too. If you need a small cloche for small-ish foods, this is the one.

El cristal es grueso y se ve elegante, no se ve como ese cristal corriente que se ve azulado. La base es un poco más grande que la cúpula y lo hace ver un poco desproporcionado (Anexo foto) . En general hace que luzcan bien lo que le pongas y se ve bonito. Llego muy rápido, muy bien embalado y cero roturas.
