Q: have you had any success in making crystals?

100 grams is roughly 3.5 ounces. You cannot really make a crystal with this ammount. You MAY get a few very small ones, but they will be very limited in their development.When I first started doing bismuth crystals, I started with 5 lbs. even that had it's limitations on what it could produce. I'm up to 20 lbs now and am going to get more. I am getting crystals about 2" square. The size of the crystals are in direct proportion to the amount of bismuth you are working with. Of course there are other important factors involved, but a good combination of a deep and wide stainless steel pot is also key.Look at the YouTube videos, you won't see people making bismuth crystals with only 100G.This is a good price though. I recommend getting a few orders of this 100g chunks if you want nice crystals.

that is bismuth, in this form it is broken off a block. You cna also buy it in polished blocks. Gallium is sold usually in plastic bottles.

It might look like a silicon piece it is, ot. Its a heavy "dense" soft metal. And no it does occur in nature like this. In fact. Erynfew metals occur in their nature metal state in nature.
