As described. Remember, these are smaller than expected, main box. Highly useable and fun item. Worth its value. Just need to check measurements first so there are no surprises.

To those who complain about the size - READ the product description! It clearly says it's just shy of 2" square. In terms of volume it holds slightly less than 1/4 cup. Which is a perfect serving size for nuts, dried fruit, hummus, or cheese .... okay, I use the mini box 8 for cheese because I eat far too much of it, lol .... but this mini box 4 is a healthier size. It's also a perfect size for a dip for veggies, or salsa. It closes fairly securely but does not latch shut in any way, so you can't just toss it into a backpack willy-nilly. Also it doesn't seal, so if the contents are liquidy - like a sauce or salsa - then it needs to remain upright at all times. May take a little getting used to but not a problem if you're already used to bento-style containers. Overall - these are a fabulous Lego-branded bento containers. Or great container for anything small - would be FANTASTIC as a jewelry gift box!

This box fits perfectly in the LEGO brick lunchbox and is well made, though not very big. It holds slices of peppers or a handful of goldfish perfectly. I'm giving it 4 stars because I wish it were a little taller (the height of the lunch box would be nice) and I think the price is a little high for such a small component.

This is very small but I already knew that from reading the other reviews. It good for raisins, nuts, a few raspberries or even some salad dressing or dip. It won't fit much of anything else. I wanted a couple of Lego boxes for my son's lunch box as he has Lego club once a week. This was a cute addition.

This was not at all what I was expecting when I looked at the item and saw the photos. It was partially my mistake because I overlooked the measurements. But for the price, when I received the item... it was laughable. I know this has more to do with LEGO than the actual product, but definitely not worth the price of the item.

I'll admit--this box is cute! However, I haven't found a thing to do with it yet. The only reason I didn't return it is because my son saw it and liked it. Ideally, you could fit M&Ms in here or approximately 4 baby carrots.

if you’re as inattentive as me, then you should know that it’s a very small box (enough for some small lego detailes maybe). But the child is happy anyway:)

I recently proposed to the most wonderful woman I know, and she's a serious LEGO fan. I bought one of these boxes to put the engagement ring in. I converted it to a ring box with some foam, shiny satin cloth, tiny hinges, and model glue. I held it out to her and uttered the sentence "I would like to build a future with you." She said yes. She shows off the ring box almost as much as the ring! These little boxes are super adorable, and perfect for any LEGO fan.

Good gift for little ones, can place a tiny gift inside. Smaller then I first thought, still pretty neat item. Recommended for the ones who appreciate LEGO
