This is a great duvet for the warmer months. Although lightweight, it keeps you at a comfortable temperature throughout the night. It’s very soft, well-made, and comes at a great price excellent value for money overall. It’s ideal for warm weather and much lighter than what I used before, making it perfect for summer. The only drawback is that I would’ve preferred smaller stitched pockets to keep the filling from shifting too easily. I've only had it for a few weeks, so I can’t comment yet on its long-term durability or washability, but so far, I’m happy with it. I bought this Silentnight 4.5 tog duvet because I tend to overheat at night, while my partner prefers a much warmer, higher tog duvet. This has been an excellent solution. It feels light and breathable, keeps me comfortably cool, and I no longer wake up feeling too warm. The filling sits evenly across the duvet and doesn’t bunch up, and the cover feels smooth and good quality. What I like most is that it works really well alongside my partner’s heavier duvet on the same bed. We each have what we need without compromising on comfort. If you run warm at night or share a bed with someone who prefers a different temperature, this is a practical and effective choice. I haven't tried washing it yet, but I'm sure it'll be fine!

We’ve been really happy with the Silentnight Cooler Summer 4.5 Tog Duvet so far. Only two days after getting it, we unfortunately had a tea spill due to a chronic illness that causes gripping issues with cups. The duvet went straight in the wash and came out perfect, it still fit the cover properly, washed evenly, and there was no bunching or clumping at all. Drying time was also great. It didn’t take nearly as long as we expected, which was a big plus. One thing worth mentioning for anyone with temperature regulation issues: a 4.5 tog isn’t as thin as you might expect. That’s actually been a good thing for us, it’s light enough for summer but still has enough substance to feel comfortable without overheating. Overall, it’s comfortable, practical, and clearly well made. Especially impressed with how well it handled washing so early on. Would definitely recommend.
