So happy I have found this soap from Green Bear as ...
So happy I have found this soap from Green Bear as it is genuine and so superior than any others i’ve tried. It lasts a lot longer. It is brilliant for my skin that can take a hammering because we love sailing so this helps moisturise my skin and hair. When showering, we are glad it is natural and not that chemical rubbish anymore that is so bad for you. Skin feels great after using it and it softens and moisturises. My husband suffers from eczema so uses the 40% version also from Green Bear. Both are of high quality and great value for money and only one product in the shower

Quality product, very happy
We were introduced to the Aleppo soap in a market on holiday and immediately hooked on the product. Regularly washing with this soap has prevented dry itchy skin and we would not go back to ‘normal’ soap. Used in the shower all over for hair & body, great, it definitely helps sensitive skin and the oils work wonders. Cut a chunk off for a family member who has had radiation treatment for cancer around the neck, so very sensitive and he now swears by it. However there are many versions (copies) out there and we have bought some that are not the genuine article, we tried Green Bear Amity and at last a GENUINE Aleppo soap. This soap proved to be the most cost effective of all tried and with the best results, the whole family are now using it including our new baby addition, so very pleased.

I Use it religiously!
What a great product .. I’ve been using Aleppo soap for a while now (from different brands etc) and this one is really good ! It’s quite big so a bit weird to use and not very practical but I won’t judge on this as you get a bigger quantity than a lot of other shops ! Just be aware, I use it for my face and it stings the eyes A LOT if you are not careful ! This is normal and it’s not caused from chemicals as all do the same ! Just be aware of it.

Moisturizing soap in quite a big block with a touch of olive scent
This soap feels moisturizing with its olive oil content and although not frothy it does have a lovely very gentle lather. It comes as a big brown/beige block which is a bit cumbersome to use but I don't mind that as the moisturizing quality overcomes any awkwardness to handle. It doesn't really have a scent - just an olive, slightly 'muddy' touch of scent which if you are used to olive products probably would be fine. I like the soap and would consider buying it again. It may seem a bit expensive for a bar of soap, but given the time and procedure involved in making it, which takes about a year, I do not think it unreasonable.

Foul smell but fantastic non the less
This is a great buy for Ecco friendliness as well as for dry skin and an excellent shampoo. It initially smells awful, don’t be put off by that, it doesn’t linger long and well worth tolerating for its excellent benefits.

This soap is wonderful.
Aleppo soap, made from olive oil and laurel oil, is the nicest soap I've ever used. It cleanses beautifully, smells of nothing but soap - no added perfumes to irritate the skin. and can even be used to shampoo the hair, leaving it soft and shiny. Conditioner not required.

The product is ok but the price is very expensive

Very nice, but a bit big - cut it in half!
This worked well for me who has very sensitive skin. But the big cube bar is hard to use, so I cut it in two with a kitchen knife to make two conventionally shaped soap bars. There's a reason they're normally that size, it appears.
