The moment I took this mitt out of the packaging, it felt like something that had been made with care. One side has natural Egyptian loofah fibres with a firm, even texture, while the other side is a tightly woven cotton fabric that feels soft in the hand. The stitching is neat and reinforced, and the edges are finished cleanly to hold their shape. It also has a sturdy hanging loop, double stitched into the seam. Loofah side (firm texture): Works best for removing dead skin, improving circulation, and prepping the skin before applying moisturiser. It’s especially effective on tougher areas like elbows, knees, and feet. Cotton side (soft texture): Ideal for gentle exfoliation on sensitive areas or as a finishing step after the loofah side. Cleans without over scrubbing. The mitt measures about 20 cm by 15 cm, giving full palm coverage without feeling bulky. Arrived neatly folded in sealed packaging, with no loose threads or gaps in the loofah weave. A quick soak in warm water before use softens the fibres slightly, and it dries quickly when hung up. Really good exfoliation and ease of use.

Like a lot of women I exfoliate occasionally but never as often as I should, I went on a spa day with my daughter and had a full body exfoliation which was wonderful and I decided then I'd make more of an effort. I have exfoliating gloves, back brush, loofah plus loads of body scrubs but none of them were rough enough to give the smooth finish I was after so I started looking and this mitt seemed ideal. This is fabulous if you're looking for a rough exfoliation, I wouldn't recommend using more than once a week and certainly never on the face but it gives excellent results and I'm so happy with it. #### UPDATE April 2017 I've had this loofah mitt for around 8 months now and I use it weekly and I still love it just as much as I did when I wrote my original review. It's like new, there's no splits and no smell like other reviewers are experiencing and when I've used it I just hang it in the shower to dry and then it's ready for the next time. This was great when I first got it. Nice size and wasn't too harsh on the skin. Unfortunately it didn't last very long at all and fell apart within a few weeks use. Expensive for how long it's lasts

I am in love with my loofah! First time I've had one. (HOW have I never tried a loofah before??? Seriously!?) My skin has felt amazing since starting to use this loofah glove. Even though I have sensitive skin that gets irritated easily - my skin seems to LOVE this product. It's been better than ever, feels smoother, softer and calmer. I have always struggled with ingrown hairs on my legs from shaving etc - my skin has always been irritated, red, and itchy from shaving (despite having tried a million different shaving products) ... Since using this loofah, my skin has been thriving and all that irritation is gone. I honestly can't believe it. How much of a difference it's made. I'm very happy and will be purchasing again regularly from now on! I've taken one star off simply because the seams/stitching of the glove have started coming apart even though I've only used it half a dozen times or so. So the durability could be better.

I've been buying this for 5 or 6 years now, cause it's awesome at doing what it's supposed to. Good exfoliation, and can be used on the face after using it a few times on the body. Wringe gently or shake off excess water. Lasts quite a while.

Ho acquistato questo guanto per introdurre un’esfoliazione della pelle più delicata del classico guanto di crine. Il pacco è arrivato nei tempi previsti e integro. Il guanto arriva in una busta trasparente con le istruzioni stampate su un cartoncino in inglese. L’utilizzo è davvero semplice e immediato, prima di tutto va lavata la spugna prima dell’utilizzo, dopodiché la si può utilizzare in due versi: 1) con il lato morbido (se ricordo bene dalle istruzioni in cotone egiziano) come una classica spugna morbida da bagno per insaponarsi; 2) con il lato di luffa per fare un leggero scrub al corpo per eliminare la pelle morta ed evitare la formazione di peli incarniti. Al termine dell’utilizzo bisogna sciacquarla per bene e lasciarla asciugare in un luogo areato per non far proliferare le muffe (essendo un prodotto naturale). Sulle istruzioni ne consigliano l’utilizzo anche sulla pelle asciutta e prima della depilazione, personalmente eviterei di utilizzarla in questo modo. Lo scrub che si fa sulla pelle ovviamente dipende anche dal livello di pressione che si applica durante il massaggio, il guanto ad alcuni sembrerà più aggressivo ad altri meno, io ho la pelle molto sensibile e stando attenta ad essere delicata sotto la doccia alla fine ottengo una pelle piacevolmente liscia e morbida ma soprattutto non irritata e rossa. Consiglio lo scrub massimo due volte a settimana e non a giorni consecutivi e l’applicazione di una buona crema idratante (specifica per la vostra pelle) dopo la doccia. When I started using it for the first time, I was very happy with how it was feeling. It felt like a proper scrub. But after the first minute of use I already noticed my finger was poking through the softer side of the mit. If a product does not even get through a single use without damage, I cannot help but feel dissatisfied.
