Q: hi,instructions say spray damp foot wear!! can i not spray on dry foot wear?

If you dampen leather it then absorbs the protector more easily. Therefore protecting the leather more.

Q: Can this be used on uggs?

Can't confirm but it's to waterproof leather and suede. If they are suede it should be ok

Q: I have this spray already, can I also use it on a nylon rain jacket instead of buying another bottle of spray specifically for that purpose?

I use it for more than just my walking boots and it works just fine but I'm unsure about nylon. I thought this product had to soak into the fabric in order to provide waterproof protection and I don't know if it would do this with nylon ?

Q: Is this suitable for mesh trainers like Sketchers?

I use it on my Vango Hill walking shoes, there is some mesh on the sides, just make sure that the Sketchers outer material is waterproofed based, a lot of people buy waterproof sprays and use them on various types of footwear and expect them to be waterproof like a pair of wellington boots, I apply the spray every 3 to 4 weeks and it keeps the Vango boots waterproof, I don't go wadding in streams to make sure they are watertight, for general walking in the rain and long wet grass the spray keeps them waterproof.
