Organic Brown Flaxseeds 500g - Linseeds - Linum usitatissimum

Very nice indeed. I mix mine with chia seeds in a warm water, twice a day, and I now swallow whole instead of chewing; I've been reading some adverse effects of taking any ground flax seeds, so I changed my usage pattern accordingly. They mix great with chia; just pop 2 tablespoons of each (chia and flax) into a large glass, and add boiled but not hot water. Just warm... stir very well, allow the product to become gelatinous as this then means the chia has become safe to drink. If you drink chia too early, it can swell and adhere to the throat so always soak...Of course, this recommendation applies only if you are mixing flax and chia to get the maximum dietary benefits (esp, omega 3 and 6). Otherwise, use flax seeds on their own and they don't need to soak for long before you can drink. I am sure you can also chew them but do your research on any risks from this.I bought both organic brown flax and golden flax (linseed). I prefer the brown by far; the golden are sweet and less enjoyable. Otherwise, the brown taste nutty, and are very pleasant. I'd definitely buy again, as they are now a major part of my nutrition on a daily basis.Now, in terms of benefits, I have noticed a significant improvement in hair and nails, as well as a return of my ability to read small print on packaging! This is a very significant change for me as I was getting eye strain that's now gone away.Is this due to chia or flax, I can't say--but the benefits of using them together have been positive and I would continue taking them. I feel more youthful and energetic also.

I add these with hemp and Chia seeds in a container with a sprinkler on the top add these to about everything I can really good for you they have your Omega 3/6 in them and great for the digestive system x

I haven’t actually ate them so I can not comment on the taste however, they are perfect for my home made hair gel !
