I have suffered from insomnia most of my life and now retired, that is a very long time to be without the benefits of decent sleep.The first few days taking Montmorency Cherry I was disappointed. I expected the supplement to help me get off to sleep faster but it did not. A few days in, however, I realised that what it does do is give me a VASTLY improved quality of sleep once I have dropped off.Previously I might lie in the dark for an hour or more before falling asleep, and wake a couple of times during the night for no apparent reason (not a bathroom break) and then take an hour or more to go back to sleep.Now I am getting to sleep and STAYING ASLEEP. Yes, I know capitals are 'shouting' but this is nothing short of remarkable. It is such a rare thing for me to wake feeling rested and refreshed that I am still shaking my head in semi-disbelief but it is not a placebo effect (see above for what I thought the supplement would do) and I have changed nothing else, so it must be the Montmorency.I have been taking the supplement for less than 2 weeks but already the benefit is remarkable, and I’m quite excited about how I am going to be three or six months down the line. Current research is showing us just how important sleep is, particularly in respect of dementia prevention and stopping plaque build-up in the brain, and if the difference in alertness I feel after such a short time is anything to go by, long-term results are something to very much look forward to!I’m juggling with when to take the supplement, currently looks like about four hours before I want to be asleep is the right time frame, but that may change; it’s early days.

#been taking cherry effect on amd off for a while but chanced upon NuU's product and was happy to find the price is very good and as far as trust and branding goes I think they nailed it as there are fakes out there. I also didn't realise these capsules are good for sleeping so I am "locked in" to keeping on taking them for over all health benefit. I first took them for the free radicals but now take them at night with food. I guess these are similar to eating a bunch of normal cherries or fruit so would come under your five a day. NuU offer a free 90 capsule bottle after 1st orders so thsat cements there peroduct with me as a good company and good product.

I chose this particular product as its freeze dried and not an extract. I've had a problem with my sleep pattern for the past 5 years and had tried different remedies, none of which worked well and which all left me feeling dreadful in the morning. I was rather sceptical as to whether this would help but was very pleasantly surprised to find that it actually does. I take 2 capsules before bedtime and am asleep in no time. I have only been taking the capsules for a week and am finding that my time asleep is gradually increasing. If I waken for a call of nature during the night, I am able to drift back to sleep again. I now wake up without that awful drugged feeling in the morning and I no longer dread the disturbed sleep I've been experiencing for too long. I can envisage taking this great product for a very long time and I shall be buying other such quality products from this company.

I liked the product, my mind wouldn't switch off at night but once I took this an hour before bed I fell asleep quicker and didn't lay there for hours.

So far so good. (4 days so far)My thumb joint( long standing pain) hurt so much after I knocked it on my friend's car door not all that hard I have to say, that I couldn't hold a fork at the weekend. This settled down really fast, although sometimes it settles on its own so I'm not necessarily putting it down to this product. Yet.Also I struggle with sleep due to fibromyalgia and though I'd give this a go as the 5htp I'd been taking had stopped working and I didn't want to go for pure melatonin as it does seem to have some of the same issues as the 5htp. Anyway the story is that so far I'm getting a good few hours sleep and even though it still isn't as refreshing as it should be, there is a difference. Anyway I've been told that the natural melatonin which you get from the montemorency cherry takes a while to build up in your system, so it's a case of 'watch this space'. If the improvements continue I will be ordering another batch (or possibly 2 if there's a benefit in postal costs) and possibly recommending it for a higher star rating. We'll see.

These cherry capsules are easy to swallow, have no bad aftertaste and I have had no adverse reactions from them. I think they may help me with falling asleep quicker as they do seem to have a mild calming effect.Good value for six months supply too.
