This is a perfect entry level bamboo flute
This is a perfect entry level bamboo flute! It's has good build quality, looks very nice, plays and sounds great; provided you are able to play/figure it out, and make it sound great. I grabbed this without knowing anything about flutes or wind-instruments in general. A few youtube tutorials and inspirational vids and you should be able to figure it out in no time. Being able to play takes time, practice, time, and more practice! So do it, get good, and experience the immense satisfaction that comes from being able to make music. Again, great starting piece! If you already know how to play a bamboo flute, you may want to look into something of higher (and more expensive) quality since you should already be able to put notes together and blowing techniques for good songs. You'll want the better sounding bamboo flutes (which can be amazing). Care for it is very simple, and getting/applying the membranes is a simple enough task as well. Again, youtube and google is your friend for learning these things. It's all out there.

Quality Flute for Beginners, Great Value
I recently got a Kmise Bamboo Flute Dizi, and for its price, I'm pretty impressed. It's my first time diving into playing an instrument like this, so I don't have much to compare it to. However, it didn't feel cheap or poorly made at all, despite the affordable cost. The sleeve it came with isn't the best quality, but that's a minor detail for me. I also bought a separate kit for membranes and glue, so I haven't used the ones that came with the flute yet. I'm still at the very beginning stages of learning—trying to figure out how to produce sound—so I can't comment on the sound quality just yet. But as for the flute itself, I'm really happy with this purchase.

Looks good but so hard to use
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 10 year old daughter, she is very musical. This thing is unbelievably hard to get a note from, I’ve never played the flute, but I’ve played around with them before and was able to get a note. After 15-20 min I got what sounded like a note, thats as far as I got. For an experienced wind instrument connoisseur I’m sure this thing would be easy, but for amateurs it’s basically a paperweight unless you want to put ours an hours into learning technique. The quality is “looks good but you can tell its cheap up close”. Also they give zero video guidance and very little instruction from the product page.

Piece of art & music
This just arrived & sooner than I expected, so it is in time for Christmas, which I didn't expect. It arrived, I opened it (was nervous when I felt two pieces inside) was amazed at how absolutely beautiful this is!!! I am not the musician, so I can't speak for that part of it, but will try to update on that when I find out. But aesthetically speaking, it's really gorgeous. The presentation was lovely, & came with a red velvety bag, & 2 things I assume are needed for the flute, & each is packaged in these cute little tiny boxes with writing. The flute itself, I put the two pieces together easily, & was just so amazed at how beautiful it is. It has beautiful lettering on it, no idea what it says, but it just adds to the beauty. It looks more like a piece of art that you would show in a case that normally I could not afford so this is just wonderful. I will try to update when my husband uses it and can tell me how it plays, but I'm so happy already, with the earlier than expected delivery, & gorgeous piece of art, from my not so musical opinion. Thank you to the seller for the fast shipping. Love the flute so far, hope he does too!!!

Exactly what I hoped for.
I bought this to very inexpensively see if I could create an embouchure for flute. And to see if I liked it. I got a good tone out of it and was very pleased. But, this is not for playing with other instruments because it is in the key of b flat which is fine as long as others have a chromatic instrument. Anyway, it’s a lovely instrument not tunable but can be played with others as long as they have a chromatic instrument. FYI two of my friends tried mine out and they got an even better sound, must be they have better lungs! This is really a fun instrument.

Have enjoyed learning to play on this flute.
I purchased this after purchasing a rosewood one, also. The bamboo was easier for me to play. As a lifetime musician, I've never played the flute. The embouchure has been easier to improve on than that on my rosewood flute. I'm sure that embouchure is something that improves with the years. I better get busy on it; I'm 71 years old!

Damaged
The Dizi arrived pretty fast and with all the stuff it was supposed to come with, BUT the Mokong hole where you apply the Dimo had a crack that ran a few inches from one side across the hole to the other side a few inches i hope i explained that good enough for you but basically this crack in the flute not only looked bad and seemed to slowly get bigger but the Dimo could not serve its purpose because of it and it would after a few times of blowing into the flute would slpit its self across the crack and be ruined so i had to return it, anywho because of that and also i didnt care for the glue I ordered from a company that is actually in china making handmade good quality flutes and are way better than this one all around and it only cost 15 more bucks so WELL worth it! Just be weary if you looking for a good quality set and everything this prolly isnt for you if you dont care about quality and just wanna mess around I guess it could be ok for you!!

Product arrived sooner than estimated time, and the quality is overall good, hard to learn but very worth it to do so. Minor damage on shipment or delivery but nothing serious. Overall, a trustworthy seller with amazing product. From India

Greay price and quality is not bad. Came 2 months late but glad it arrived in good condition. Sound is fine, similar to others of similar design and price. Comes with bag, a decoration and fibres. Cant complain!

For the price you’re paying I’d recommend. My only complaint is that it does not come with the glue you need to attach the thin piece of paper. I instead had to use tape. Other than that it’s fine.

I have been playing my Dizi for a few months and for the price I really recommend it! The only issue is that because I live in Canada and I ordered the flute in the early spring months, it was still quite cold and dry. As soon as I started playing and heating up the flute naturally with my breath, it cracked along the length of the flute in multiple places. The plastic bands wrapped around throughout the flute keeps it together, but I had to wrap it in multiple places with electrical tape to avoid air leakage. It is a great starter flute, but I will be avoiding bamboo in the future as it is poorly suited to cold, dry climates.
