This was challenging but looks great when completed. Here are a couple of tips which helped us a lot - all pieces have a texture running across them - this helps you to know the direction they appear in the puzzle. We did the outline, the planets, the earth and the spaceman first. Then in a good light we sorted any pieces with traces of colour - generally these were around the spaceman. All remaining pieces needed to be sorted by shape and orientation and these needed to be tried one at a time working from an edge so that generally you know two of the shapes of the pieces. I would say that all pieces positively fitted as long as they were correct.

I was rather puzzled by the request to review, what do you say about a jigsaw. So the bits come in a box, you put them together and you end up with a good quality image. My 7yr old loves it

I considered buying this for a while but knew it would be hard to do. In the end I bought it, and found I was right. However, I followed the advice of another reviewer and did the edges first, then astronaut and planets. There are various shades of dark blue that lead to the black, so if it's done in a good light it's possible to gradually fill in the different shades. Also the tiny stars are grouped in different shades, so they're helpful. It's a challenging jigsaw, but I do like a challenge, so I enjoyed doing it, with assistance from my husband. It's a reasonably good quality jigsaw, although the pieces don't lock together as well as some of the other brands I've had. However, I like Clementoni jigsaws and would certainly buy them again.

I bought this for my grandson at xmas and he loves it, he makes n n breaks it up so he can do it again...happy grandson...
