Eastman Irrigation Hose Bibb, 1/2 Inch MIP x 1/2 Inch MHT Outdoor Spigot, Brass Garden Valve, 20181

This is the second one of these I've purchased. Have had the other one for a couple years, and it has functioned perfectly. Easy to install, easy to operate, functions properly, has never leaked; very good product at an excellent price.

It took care of a leak that has dripped almost 3000 gallons in 4 months. It fit perfectly, super easy to change out with two wrenches. It looks and feels like it’s going to last for many years! I’m very happy with this faucet!

I find that these hose bibs are about half the cost of what a big orange store might charge. I also find that they are about half as durable. So, dollar for dollar, they are similiar. I needed to replace eight hose bibs around our property. $130 : $75 🤔 So, I cheaped out... Overall, these hose bibs are functioning as required. One dripped for a bit, but since stopped. I would be happier if replacement rubber seals were available, that would make them serviceable, thus last much longer. As for flow, they flow enough to operate a high output oscillating sprinkler at the end of a 100' - 3/4" hose; from a source with an average of 45psi. So, it's working for us. I am happy with my purchase...

Works well in my low-pressure system. The washers seem soft as there is little snugness between cessation of flow and notable resistance to turning, which means do not over tighten. I used 1/2 NPT, but looks like 1/2" sweat as well.
