I ordered a few doorbell guards to see which one fits best my Eufy E340 model. This one feels very sturdy, slightly flexible, and spacious enough to fit my video doorbell camera. I installed it outside the main entrance to my house on a brick and mortar wall. Note that the top cover slightly obscures field of view (will vary for different doorbell video camera models), so you should test prior to installation. I chose to install this doorbell video camera guard as my prior video doorbell literally crumbled to the touch after many years in the sun. This will protect it more from direct sun exposure and also the rain to some extent.

I use them on my two Ring doorbells. Keeps rain, snow and direct sunlight off.

Didn’t work for my home. It significantly reduced peripheral camera views and with my house facing south I was afraid in the warm weather the black, heavy material would absorb the sun’s rays and bake the camera electronics.

The cover for the camera is plastic and with the sun it got brittle and broke. Since I could not buy a replacement cover. To protect the camera Leneses this product was perfect and super easy to install.
