These are, from the outside, exactly the same as all Brita and Brita style cartridges I've used, same instructions on soaking them and pouring away the first filter of water.Not the best value it seems but water tastes as expected and hoped

They work

These take the chemical taste and smell from drinking water. It's not an essential as UK water is generally very good, but it is nicer once filtered.

I use this every day and we fill my cats fountain with the water so the filter doesn't get clogged.
