Tricky to build but end product good
We bought this as it was one of the few stands we found that rotated more than 90 degrees each way. While it wasn’t the easiest to put together, with a little help from YouTube we managed to build it and attach the television (it did need two of us). I’ve knocked a star off because of the instructions and because alignment of the base and attaching the upright was difficult and time consuming. But now the TV box and soundbar comfortably sit below it, so it is an improvement on the fixed base the TV came with.

Barely fits a 65" so skip this and false advertising re direction of operation.
Did lots of research and thought this would be best but.....I was wrong. 1) it barely fits a 65". I was really hoping the pole would be taller bit alas its not. My 65" LG Qned only just fits on. And the bottom of the TV is scraping the stand. There is only about 2cm left of the pole. So of you have a large 65" then don't buy this. 2) the tv is tilting somewhat to one side. No idea why. 3) it's super hard to get the bolts that hold the tv up on the pole tight enough, so over a few hours the tv starts to drop. 4) the images on the advert show the TV able to be turned around. This is true it can but the images on the advert also show the tv facing the shorted flat edge. This lead me to believe that the stand could be operated this way. BUT the instructions specifically state not to do this due to the risk of toppling!!! So basically it's false advertising.

We are SO happy with this swivel stand! I bought it for an older person who had their living room rearranged to be able to sit in several spots. Now she can easily turn the TV by herself to face any direction, so now she can be encouraged to sit in a chair, on the couch, or at a small table & chair and she can see the TV from anywhere in the room. It's important to not just sit in one seat all day & night; it's bad for the back, legs, and it can even cause bedsores. This swivel stand will help her be more mobile. It moves very smoothly; firmly but easily. It is not too difficult for an 80yr old with a walker to rotate. As for assembly, there are only a few drawings, no words. Some common sense will be enough to figure it out. I'd definitely suggest 2 people at least for the first step where you have to put the heavy glass base and the vertical tube together. I managed to do it myself but with a lot of struggling; if I even had an older child to hold part while I put the screws through several layers it would've helped. Just someone to hold part of it for a minute. As for putting the TV on it, if you've ever mounted a TV before you will do just fine. If you never have, it will be overwhelming for a minute when you see a LOT of screws, lol, but you will only need one size. The rest are extra. All TV mounts give you a lot of screws and spacers so you can choose the ones that fit your TV and then you can discard the rest (or save them for some other use). That part was confusing in the directions if you've never done it before. You'll choose your screws like this: Put the TV face down on a firm but soft surface, like a table with a towel on it, or on a bed or carpet. Find the 4 screw holes on the back of the TV. Look at the strip of screw packets and find the ones that are the right thickness. Put the cross-supports across 2 of the holes, and now observe how deep the screws need to be, and choose the right length screws. Take them out of the packets and try them in the holes. You can use the plastic cylindrical spacers to make up for any height difference so that the screw goes into the TV as far as possible and the supports stay on firmly. You'll see a lot of letters and numbers on part of the diagram; letters of each size screw. Do not be overwhelmed, you will only be doing ONE of those little pictures; the one that matches the size screw you determined will fit your TV best. Ignore the rest. If it's too difficult, think of someone you know who has mounted a TV before and have them talk you through it or come help. When you're setting up the wires, make sure they have enough slack so that they don't get pulled or snag on anything as you turn the TV. Turn the TV both ways slowly, watching the wires for potential snags. Once they're in place (using the provided wire guides or your own cable ties or whatever, though we didn't need anything), and you're sure it all moves safely and smoothly, enjoy! If you're shopping around, notice that this swivel goes all 360 degrees smoothly. Most others only go on a small angle, or you have to press or click something while moving the TV to click into place on a new angle.
