An unexpected benefit of this product is the scent -- it's not overwhelming, just fresh and appealing. This tonic doesn't weigh hair down or make it greasy like some other hair growth serums. If your hair is thinner and fine, the tonic might feel a bit more noticeable, but those with finer hair probably wash it more frequently anyway, so it may not be a problem. Bottom line: it works for me provided I use it regularly and with realistic expectations, allowing at least a couple of months for new growth to come in. In the meantime, it makes my hair smell great. TIP: For those who don't like the spray application, if you ever get a bottle with the twist top, hang on to it and use it to replace the spray attachment when you buy it again. The twist top allows for better application directly on the scalp, which is where it's going to be most effective. It's a mystery why they changed to a spray applicator.

When hair starts shedding more than growing then this has helped to stablize. Not a cure but welcome relief to support treatment and really good Amazon has this line for eomen and men.
