Got this cable to connect an older MacBook to an external monitor in the lab. The cable itself feels sturdy, with a nice braided finish that doesn’t feel cheap at all. Setup was simple, I plugged it in and the display showed up right away, with no extra settings or troubleshooting needed. I’ve been using it mainly for work, with some occasional video streaming, and the image has been stable the whole time, with no flickering or dropouts. The length is practical and long enough to reach the devices I needed to connect. That said, for my setup, the 6.6 ft cable is actually a bit longer than necessary, so I just coiled the extra length and tucked it behind the monitor. Overall, it’s a straightforward cable that works reliably, which is really all I was looking for.

Cable works great for Thunderbolt connector to HDMI for extra computer monitor.

Worked great until last week (11/10/25). Monitor started flickering. I replaced the monitor, and the issue remained. I used this cable on another workstation, and the issue followed the cable. Unfortunately, it's outside the return window. I do not recommend this product. Update - Seller offered full refund even though it was outside the return window. I changed my review.
