Great little pump that moved oil from one tank to containers and then to another tank. Construction is plastic and metal. Flow rate was quite impressive. I wasn't to impressed with the plastic tubing provided as the side walls are soft and tend to fold and block the flow, this required careful positioning to prevent this happening. If I was going to use the pump a lot, the pipe would be replaced.

Good little pump that is very capable. I used this unit on my boat to pump out an otherwise inaccessible compartment and it was excellent. Other comments mentioned the supplied 14mm hose - it did the job but is very poor quality- easily kinked and very soft construction. I would purchase the unit without the hose and source a separate length of suitable hose from elsewhere. Supplied power cable is roughly 3m in length as is the accompanying hose. The head pumped up to a limit of approximately 1m but kinking of the supplied hose may have been limiting the performance. The pump itself is recommended

The hose is comes with is terrible, but it can be swapped out for a standard bit of hosepipe. Other than that, it's a pretty good pump for the money. Used it too pump some kerosene out of larger store and did the job surprisingly quickly.

Liked the speed and ease of use. Would say to definitely go for the 3/4 inch one for speed of flow. It does need the vessel thats being emptied to be higher than the vessel it's being emptied into for best results. We've had this for well over a year now, bought as a replacement for electric pumps that kept failing after a few months and this is still working perfectly. As tends to be the case we have replaced the pipe, as the one that came with it went rigid after a while, but a bit of 3/4" reinforced garden hose soon sorted that. I would definitely buy one of these over an electric pump every time.

Pump works well. The hose was packaged so badly it had kinks in it that despite all efforts could not be removed making it completely useless. Either careless packaging or bad quality hose. Reduced to one star as the second time i have now used it it doesn't work. Completely useless.

The tube is rolled not properly and had 11 kinks blocking it. Even after wasting an hour inserting a thin rope and gently warming on a radiator it was unusable. Use a hose pipe instead.

I didn't expect too much at the price, but I am delighted so far, just used it a few time to pump 20L from my car boot into Ibc water containers on my allotment. I estimate it will pump around upto 1.5 to 2m height but the flow was unexpectedly good. Supplied pipe. Mine was fully creased. I layed it outside and slowly poured in hot water to take out the creases, which it did 95% I only coiled it up loosely as it will crease again if coiled tight. The pump must not run dry; probably damage water cooled bearings or overheat the windings. I used a 12v tyre pump battery which has a car socket - worked a treat.
