I bought this one for my wife and she loves it! it is a shiny, beautiful gold plated number. We’re teachers and needed good whistles. Last year I bought the regular brass version which is maybe a little louder. But, both serve the purpose or calling our kids at recess and are free blowing and can be heard by all kids near and far.

I’ve used Acme Thunderer whistles for bird-dog training for over fifty years, but I’ve never before seen one this gorgeous. Much like my son’s ex-wife, it is beautiful and LOUD.
