We have been using these for a few months with no issues - no leaking , the chickens figured out how to use very quickly- initially we were keeping other waterers in with them but now have taken them out ; the kit comes with the drill bit to make the holes in your containers - which makes it easy otherwise you would be trying to find the right size ; and they were cheap but good quality -

Easy install and no leaks

The media could not be loaded. These work perfect. Super helpful that it comes with the exact right size drill bit. I really liked the rubber washers provided to put on both sides of what bucket or barrel used. No leaks what do ever and the chickens picked right up on how to use them. I’ve used others before and these are by far better than any others I’ve seen.

No leaks and no cups to collect dirt! These stay much cleaner than the cups. Chickens easy adopted to this style of watering. Comes with everything you need to install if you need to add a hole. Directly replaces the water cups w/o drilling. You can use these to add more watering stations, too.

These things work like a champ. I installed 10 nipples on a 55 gal blue plastic barrel. Very straight forward. The only problem I had (thus the four stars) is I wish the threads were longer. The thickness of the plastic on the barrel was not consistent and some of the nipples didn’t have enough thread showing to put the plastic wing nut and rubber washer on the inside. Some wing nuts I was not able to install but but none of the nipples leaked. Chickens figured it out real quick.

I've been using auto fill cups on a 5 gallon bucket to water my small flock. The water in the cups is always dirty so i've had to clean them everyday for the chickens to have clean safe water. The water in the cups freezes even when I heat the water in the bucket. The VandanCoop Horizontal Automatic Water Nipples don't freeze and the chickens always have clean water. It only took the chickens about 10 seconds to figure out how to get water from the Nipples. My chickens drink alot more water now that they always have fresh clean safe water. Happy Chickens!

As the title says, the 5 nipples that didn't leak work great, and I'm VERY happy with those 5 nipples. Luckily, 5 is enough for my purposes for right now, so I wasn't too bothered that 5 didn't work. The hard part was switching out the broken ones and trying to figure out which worked fine - my finger tips were raw for a week from all the twisting on and off (the little tool they provided broke on the first twist, so don't depend on that). If you actually need 10 working nipples, I would recommend ordering two packages. The 5 that are working have been working fine and the chickens love them.

Comes with everything you need. Will help keep my girls hydrated this summer. Installs very easily.

Nipples seam like good quality, nice to have some backup.
