Great lipstick stays on great price

After trying at least 8 shades of red, I found 2-3 shades that “would do.” After a couple years, I finally decided to give Starwoman a try and I can never go back to my other shades - the red-blue is the perfect hue and the staying power is top notch!

This is a really pretty color on dark skin. I bought it because I saw a girl on tik tok use it as a blush, and her skin was dark like mine. It is very versatile, and as a matte, can add some color to your cheeks as well. I am about the complexion of Kelly Rowland, so if you are that brown, it will look really good on you.

The best lip stain out there

I have been on a mission to duplicate The Lip Bar's Bawse Lady (vivid, deep, blue-red) in a formula that stays put. Everything I read said StarWoman was "the one." StarWoman is just another frog in an expensive suit! Not blue-red in the least! Very warm/orangey red on my fair olive face, I wouldn't even call it neutral. And it most certainly does not stay put, it transfers like crazy! Even the applicator was a let-down. It's small and stiff and did a patchy job on its own; had to smush my lips together to get it smooth, which I never have to do with TLB, Jeffree, NYX, Maybelline, Revlon or anyone else who makes these matte liquid lippies. At NARS' price, which is 2-3x everybody else, this result was a particularly annoying letdown!

Love the color! It is so vibrant and it's fast drying and long lasting. I get so many compliments on it. It's a small size though so I'm not sure it will last 3 months if used frequently.

Beautiful shade of “red.” Warning, Matte lipsticks tend to dry down & make lips dry. Remedy by using clear gloss if uncomfortable ! I do love the color!
