Can I install the shelf in my shower?

The mounts in the carton assume Sheetrock walls. The Glass shelf would not be great in a shower (fear of being hit by an arm) Overall, I'd NOT recommend it.

How does the glass secure inside the mounts? Can the glass be removed easily to access the top of the toilet tank if mounted above toilet?

There's a set screw with a flat silicone tip on the end so it won't break the glass, which I believe is tempered. So it may be easily removed. We're very happy with it.

Can you tell me exact thickness or wall bracket opening size ?

bracket opening and glass are 5/16"

Do you need a power Drill to install these?

you should, it will make the install a lot easier
