you should put a new air filter in ever 6 mos some of them run as much 19.00 each i get a K and N when i get a new or used auto and like my 2001 dodge i have had new doe the math say 10.00 ever 6 mos for 24 years that is $20.00 a year 2x 24 is $480.00 i saved $450.00 i wash them out with Dawn and let them dry and back in they go i have one in 5 auto that some i have had over 11 years and some 14 years i would say i save alot money now as far more power and better gas i don't know but i can buy alot gas with what i save not have to buy them paper ones got them on cars truck bikes buy one time and just was with dawn let dry and put the money in my pocket just on the old dodge how much gas could i but with $480.00 it take $60.00 right to fill it up now that 8 tank of gas at to day price of the year 2024

I have a Ram 1500 2012 4.7 quad cab slt and I'm fairly impressed that changing just the air filter makes a difference (not a large one but it is notable) if you have a hemi you might see better results as the bigger engine requires more air than mine. Low to mid rang rpm and throttle response did improve and I got about .5 MPG more so it's a nice tiny upgrade for the price! However if you plan to do a ton of off roading you will need to clean it more often.

Good quality air filter, size is correct for a 2019 ram 1500 classic. Air quality seems to be better, id say throttle response is still the same.. I got the 3.6 (Very unimpressive motor power wise, torque there though.) Air filter standard k&N what you'd expect, and you get what you pay for with it. Ive always bought k&N air filters there worth the investment as you pay once for the life of the vehicle, and you're good after that.You just wash the dirty air filter out let it dry and reuse it.

Fit my 2020 Ram perfectly and now she's breathing easy again.
