Amazing!!!
I absolutely love these chairs! Assembly was super quick and easy — within minutes they were ready to use. The design is modern and elegant, matching perfectly with my glass table and making the dining area feel much cozier. Even though they’re lightweight, they are sturdy and stable. The seat is comfortable enough for everyday use, whether for quick meals or longer conversations around the table. Another big plus is how easy they are to clean — just a damp cloth does the job. Great value for the price! I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for style, quality, and practicality.

Strong, easy to assemble, but difficult to clean.
They are super nice. They are definitely the most affordable dining chairs I've seen. My one complaint is that due to the color it is very easy to get food or dirt stains. When I was assembling it, it immediately picked up dirt from the floor which I was not able to clean up with just rubbing alcohol. But I did remove it with a harsher cleaner and some good scrubbing. The wood comes unstained and unsealed, so you can stain it if you like. It came a week early, which was a pleasant surprise. Very easy to assemble. Although it did not come with instructions it was very straightforward. All you do is screw the legs/base onto the seat with washers and bolts. It comes with a small wrench (and the nuts and bolts) to help you attach the legs to the seat, however I had to also use my crescent wrench since some of the bolts on the legs were kind of loose. I strongly recommend. As for comfort, they are ok. They definitely don't hurt and they aren't awkward to sit in, but the the seats are uncushioned plastic so what can you expect. They remind me of the chairs that they have in schools. They kinda feel like that. I plan on making seat cushions for mine. In conclusion they are very lovely and adorable I strongly recommend.

Easy to clean but not the sturdiest
I bought two sets (8 total) of these chairs 4.5 years ago when we moved into our new house. I wasn't expecting miracles since they were so cheap, but with all the other new furniture and moving expenses we were OK with it, especially since we have 3 kids and knew we didn't want anything upholstered. I do like the look of them - most of our house is done in IKEA/midcentury styles, so the clean lines were a plus. They are SUPER easy to clean - even my kids haven't managed to stain a single one despite all their spills and arts & crafts! The cons (and reasons I won't be buying more of these) is that they just aren't built to last. Almost immediately we noticed that the bolts and washers holding the legs on would loosen over time and eventually fall out (these are the large rubbery washers you can see in the product image labeled "improved version"). It doesn't cause the chair to collapse because of the way all 4 legs are attached to each other with the black bars, but it was annoying to find the bolts/washers on the floor every few days and then have to flip each chair to find where the missing hardware came from. No matter how well we screwed it back in, it would fall back out eventually. Over time we have lost several of the bolts and several chairs now just function with 3 bolts, which makes them feel less sturdy and probably creates additional stress on the remains bolts (that may be contributing to the cracks, more on that next). Several of the chairs have also broken, which is why I'm back on Amazon looking for replacements. The stated weight limit is 300 lbs, which was one of the reasons I bought them - my husband is 6'3" and about 250 lbs, and we frequently have guests of all sizes. However, over time, they all start to crack right where the legs connect to the seat; the crack is visible and makes visitors wary of the chairs. We've had them break under guests more than once, which is embarrassing for all involved. At the moment we only have 4 chairs, so half have broken in the last 4.5 years. the most recent one actually snapped where the black bar was attached to the wood of one leg, which was quite dramatic. For what it's worth, despite having 3 kids we really aren't that rough on most of our furniture, so breakage isn't due to kids being wild - just from sitting down to 2ish family meals per day, homework/arts/crafts, and the occasional holiday dinner. TLDR: Not bad for the price and easy to clean, but you're only going to get a couple of years out of them!

Nice chairs great price
These completed a new dining set I put together for our kitchen.. we had 4 chairs falling apart due to them being too big/cumbersome for children. These are exactly what I hoped they'd be... pretty sturdy, light, easy to move, smaller overall, but not too small... and went well with a modern mid-century antique table I found. The only things to note about these chairs is the finish on the legs is a little unrefined. They're not glossy like the photos. I had to sand an refinish them anyway to match the table better so, it actually saved me some sanding. They looked almost unfinished out of the box... maybe a whisper or suggestion of lacquer had been applied... like a tasteful perfume. But I sanded that off and brought them down a tone or 2 by staining with 'Driftwood' from Minwax. Now they blend with the table better. The white plastic is easy to smudge/shows (dirty) fingerprints but is easy to clean. I'd prefer a more polished surface but it is very acceptable as is. I honestly have no real issues with this set, for $100 shipped you can't beat this set. They seem sturdy so far and my 220 lb butt has tested each one. Assembly was as expected.. most went together with no issue, a few bolts/screws needed tightening after the journey from half a world away... but no problems at all.

Persistent Bolt Issues Make These Chairs Unusable
Stylish but Fundamentally Flawed - Constant Bolt Failures Render Chairs Unsafe and Frustrating I purchased a set of these Furmax dining chairs based on their appealing modern design. While they do initially look nice and fit the mid-century aesthetic, their functionality is severely compromised by a critical and persistent flaw: the bolts connecting the legs to the seat constantly come loose, even after multiple attempts to tighten them securely. This is not a minor inconvenience; it's a significant safety concern. On multiple occasions, while simply sitting normally, I've felt the chair become wobbly as the bolts begin to detach. This instability makes the chairs feel unreliable and potentially dangerous, as there's a constant fear of them collapsing. I have diligently tried to tighten the bolts using the provided Allen wrench, ensuring they are as snug as possible. However, this is clearly not a long-term solution, as they invariably loosen again after a short period of use. This repeated maintenance makes these "pre-assembled" chairs feel like a constant DIY project just to keep them functional enough to sit on. For chairs intended for regular use in a dining, kitchen, or living room setting, this level of instability is unacceptable. The primary purpose of a chair is to provide stable and safe seating, and these Furmax chairs fail to deliver on that fundamental requirement. While the design might be aesthetically pleasing, the poor construction and the recurring issue with loosening bolts make these chairs a significant disappointment and, frankly, a waste of money. I cannot recommend these chairs to anyone looking for reliable and safe seating. The constant need for tightening and the inherent instability far outweigh any visual appeal they might possess. I would strongly advise potential buyers to consider other options where structural integrity is not a persistent concern.

A Little Tough to Put Together, But great chairs when assembled.
I had a similar set of these chairs that were college hand-me-downs, in brown that was peeling to show the (shudder) avocado green underneath. As my own kid is out of college, I decided that I deserved a set that was newer than 1972. These look wonderful, and fit the design I wanted for our new kitchen. I have boatloads of experience putting together furniture, including the stuff from that giant Scandinavian chain, so I figured this would be a no brainer. Hah. I spent 45 minutes on one chair, trying to hold the screws, washers and the chair tabs together, and I still got it wrong! I noticed that the screws seemed to be made of unusually soft metal, as I had stripped the heads on many of them with a hand held Allen wrench and no attempts at tightening the screws. I decided to make my life a lot easier with a few things, first of all, bringing the old screws to the hardware store and exchanging them for better quality screws. I also bought a thing called loc-tite, which is supposed to keep screws from coming undone. I had an epiphany when I went back to hold all that little bits in place while I screwed the legs on: there is no law saying I cannot tape the things in place so I have both hands free to support the chair and screw in the bits. The tape gave me the added benefit of helping me make sure all the tabs on the chair leg assembly were in the correct place. I used plain old office tape, the stuff you might use for gift wrapping, and tore it away when the legs were in place. I did poke a small hole in the tape just before I screwed in-the screw, and squirted in a tiny amount of loc-tight as added insurance. It has been five months of daily use, and the hardware is all in place. My only recommendation beyond getting more durable screws would be to think long and hard before buying white chairs. I end up cleaning these things on a daily basis, as they show EVERYTHING. I find handprints on them from people who supposedly have clean hands. The dog leaves little footprints on the chair before I see him and boot him off. Our Thanksgiving dinner left souvenirs on every single chair. Cleaning them is easy, just spray with cleanser and scrub off the stains with a rag, but it's just one more thing to do. I'm glad that the green with brown paint were demoted to garage use, but they needed a quick swipe to clean them about three times a year. The new white ones need a lot more attention, but they look amazing in my kitchen.

Great look, easy to clean, easy to replace if need be
These chairs updated and modernized the look of our dining room for a fraction of the price. We have children, and struggled with keeping our upholstered parsons chairs clean, hence why we opted for these after trying them at an AirBnB. We were concerned that the white would stain easily, but so far, we’ve been able to keep them looking great with regular cleaning. They are comfortable but they are very lightweight- not a super sturdy piece of furniture… we feel safe sitting in them but I am not sure what would be their weight limit. We have owned these for over a year- we have had to retighten the hardware, but no parts have fallen off or bent / deformed. Overall, great value.
