Atlas Weather Sensor, White

The anemometer wore out and temperature was not accurate on my previous model so I purchased this as the replacement. This set up was easy and get back up and running. The temperature is very accurate and getting proper wind speeds again. I did purchase the lighting sensor and that works great too but that is a separate purchase and easy to install in the slot.

Very good quality

This was replacement for existing station that had been in place for 5 years and was unable to transmit data. The data is good and using the mobile app helps keep track of history. The only down side has been that the low battery warning is not prominent at times and would be nice if a custom warning in the app

As like in the other reviews usually the acurite system is solid, however this Atlas line up is utter crap. I have to climb a 30ft ladder every 2 or 3rd day to remove the batteries to reset the weather station. It keeps disconnecting and wont stay connected. Waste of money.

I’ve been stuck with this 5-1 weather station. Every couple of years, something has to be replaced (atlas, sensor, screen). This time the sensor. Not my 1st time! Replaced sensor. Deleted old sensor and system recognizing the new sensor. This new 5-1 sensor’s wind speed indicator, failed within 30 days! No wind reading, all other sensors are working, just no wind speed. Returning for replacement with exact same sensor. We will see! Not impressed. Planned obsolescence! Pay $100 + every couple of years! No customer service! They are horrible!!
