We do a lot of low voltage work and this was a great purchase for us. We’re install motorized windows shades. We often are working in houses where the electrician ran the wires we are using and they often don’t get labeled. This lets us easily identify which window a particular wire in the mechanical room is going…to which is often a big deal for us!

Well, it works. I was able find wiring connection about 60 feet apart through walls and underground. Unfortunately, take serious heed of the warning not to connect to live wire. I accidentally did and now the thing is dead. I would buy it again.

Received product okay, but the tester does not work install 9 volt battery, push on button , touch leads together, and also tried a short copper wire , no beeping sound , no light flashing. This item faulty, doesn't work
