Does a great job; will not harm pipes .... most noticeable in the shower & garbage disposal. Does take some time management as you can't run water in the drains for a # of hrs. I try to time it for overnight.

I had a terrible ammonia odor coming from my shower drain and nothing I used was working. I have a sewer, not septic. I watched a lot of videos, trying to figure out how to fix it. I tried vinegar and baking soda, bleach, and enzymes, but nothing was working. I even bought a number of brushes to scrub as far down as I could. I was afraid I had a broken pipe that was causing sewer gas to come up. I called a few plumbers and found out that it would cost $500 for them to come clean it, so I bought this product and followed the directions of putting a scoopful into water and putting it in the drain after all our showers were done. Honestly, it took more than a week of doing it daily before it worked....may about two weeks...but it did the trick.Now I use it about once a week and don't have any ammonia smell coming from the drain. I am so grateful that this worked because I was at my wits end.

This works very well, but has a distinct odor (unpleasant, but not overpowering) when dry. When used and the product is wet, it floats some, and the smell becomes markedly stronger and a bit worse. However, if you can deal with that, it does clean the drain lines for almost all sink/tub/toilet uses and seems to have removed a building clog in an elbow turn pipe I had slowly building. I now use it every couple months and have no slow-drain issues from these drains or downstream from them. I also recommend the companion products for cleaning washers and dishwashers, etc.

I have tried lots of different drain cleaners that did not work. Your product probably works great for simply clogs. But my clog is under cover in the cement wall. So I guess I have to do some wall demolition now. Again ! Thank You for the use of this product.

Update:So I have been contacted by the seller and trying a few different things to help me solve my problem. I expected more results based on the reviews, but unfortunately this product doesn’t seem to work for everyone...

My neighbor got something very similar. A plumber gave it to him and was told that it was best to mix it with tepid water before you put it down the drain and not to do it every day for five days as the instructions say. Doing it once every other day to begin with and then monthly. I used it on a rental house with older plumbing and everything just started flowing better just after one treatment. Even the toilet seemed to flush better! I'd recommend it to everyone, it's just too bad that it's so expensive, but much less than calling a plumber.

A plumber recommended this product to me and now I always have it on hand. I use it every few weeks and it keeps my pipes clean and prevents problems from occurring. Highly recommend this as an ongoing home maintenance item.
